I must admit, I didn't know about the Japanese version compared to English version as a kid, but I do think the English version is a bit better too.

The Singapore-English dub from Animax ACTUALLY does this, Japanese Music with English VAs Nobody ever uploaded the Digi-Modify/Card Slashes from that dub

yes u'd know what im talking abt.i grew up watching the chinese dub then english dub with all the original songs n music intact.i didnt know US made such a disaster out of their dubs till much later.i wish singapore did a full english dub of duel monsters too instead of merely ending at battle city.
