I love mine. LOVE. Every time I think about trading it, it tells me "no". The ability to run 6L6s or EL34s in either 50 watt or 100 watt mode makes this beast so capable of nearly any sound you want. I run mine with matched EHX 6L6s (mostly) in 50 watt mode. It still shakes the house. The clean is so clean if you want it that way. Great pedal platform. ...and I figure Steve Vai wrote most of what we've heard from him on this amp so it should work for me.

If I had that pedal I would maybe pair it up with a chorus or delay pedal and that would be it!!!! I typically like very few effects as possible between my guitar and amp because I think the sound is clearer!!! Its my preference!!! Now!!! I want to go play guitar!!! And relearn those Randy Rhoads songs!!! LOL 😆 😊😊😂❤

The polka dots on the pedal look cool!!!! You might need an equalizer pedal to boost the midrange!!! 😊 I admit Im a little bit jealous!!! LOL 😆 😂 But I enjoy that thrill of getting a new toy (music gear) and trying it out!!!! Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen where my big musical influences back in 1985 !!! @@MarkThomasMusicI have one but I hate so much that they made these limited run, there’s no reason why everyone that wants one shouldn’t have one of these. I was tempted to sell mine at the prices but I bought it to play and keep; so lame that now I feel guilty even using it bc it’s so rare. BUT if you want you can buy a regular yellow distortion plus and it’s not going to sound much different

Thank you do this lesson. I was so afraid to watch ,you have a beautiful dog.. I sadly had to have My choc lab Stella Blue ,euthanized yesterday morning.. It is so difficult to get through the day’s without her. So fresh and new , I forgot how much sadness follows our furry ones passing. Truly are family members . But the tutorial is more helpful than any of skimmed through so far. Thank you so much 😊

They won’t have them man they only made 3200 and sold them online. I got one from GC online. I’m sorry to hear you missed on it man but hey I saw a regular yellow D+ that will probably sound exactly the same for $60 on reverb if you want that!

@@toddflowers7647 I do have some Randy licks posted in some other videos. It probably shows, but not one note that I played was really planned out. I just played along with the pedal. Plus, it kinda lets ppl know that it’s not just a one trick pony. Near the end where I run the gain from 0-all the way up, it shows that this pedal can find its rightful place on ANY players board.

I’m honestly baffled by the amount of a**holes who are trying to profit on this pedal by selling it on eBay or reverb for more than $450. The worst I’d seen was someone selling this pedal for over $1000 and someone had actually bought it. Gawd I hate scalpers.
