Pin in return was close but the design kept it out.... One of the major flaws of our GS-X's.... No matter how good the adjustments are on the T-Band and deflectors...A pin always makes it in at some point. I like the tong position on this one.... This machine sets and re-spots very fast... Very smooth operation.

Why isn't there sweep reverse after gutter/7/10 pickoff? It has short strike cycle so it has XOP/EXP.

It's all well and good that the bottom of the setting table is unable to pop the ball, but when the ball is situated in between the cups and shuttle... that's a whole different story. There's no safety cut-out switch, or possibly a setting on the pinspotters (especially the newer 82-70 / Xli models) to automatically reserve the motor should there be an obstruction.

I can't stand glow bowling and black lights. You can't see the arrows on the lane. The pins are harder to see. Makes it harder to concentrate. Everytime people want to go bowling they want to go during this crap. And as a serious bowler who is trying to get better. It's no fun for me

If the machine knows the strikes been bold then how come it can't sensor dead wood on the lane and if there is no dead wood not even worry about running the rake

There’s a camera that takes a picture of the pins prior to the table coming down to pick up the pins. If there are no pins it tells the chassis (brain of the machine) to run the sweep to clear the deck instead of coming down to pick up pins. It saves on machine parts wear down. The camera is at the top left of the video sitting on top of the ball underground track. It’s called a Q Vision camera. Hip that helps.

Nice running machines. I am not fond of the steel tables. The pins set with a little wobble and are forward of spot and there is a hole in the carpet belt. I have have been working on 8800 and 82-90's machines since December 1996. I started on 82-30's in 1980 and also worked on 82-70's and Brunswick A-2's.

This pinspotter runs more smoothly than the 82-90XL's I've bowled on. During Leagues, I always expecting problems like missing pins, ball jams, pin jams and sometimes table jams. There's even one Lane had an interlock keep occuring repeatedly because the Table runs for no reason while the sweep is sweeping on 2nd Ball.
