This is an amazing video! It is so hard to find resort tours with those gorgeous ambient sounds! People try to put music with it...ruins it! This is simply amazing! POFQ is our favorite with over 40 stays...you've captured it splendidly!

7:00 Would those bars support a hammock?
@ourmidwestlife3 ай бұрын
I would say they would diagonal from one side of the front to the other side of the back. But not sure of the weight capacity. If you were to order one, I’d tell them your plan incase they need to add a couple more support bars.

5-7 pounds... isn't it a bit low for a Concord? quote from a study: "Concord: yield increased from 4.0 to 23.0 kg/vine as bud load increased from 20 to 160 buds/vine" most fruitful buds on a Concord might be 4 to 8... are we cutting to 2 buds spurs?

Maybe in the midwest, but I don't think I've ever seen a National Forest campground in the Rocky Mtn West or NorthWest that had showers. Fresh water and restrooms with cold running water is about it. I think Missouri and other states farther East have more state parks and maybe national parks. Parks are different from National Forest and Wilderness areas. You can also dry camp on BLM land. There are lots of ways to rig up a decent shower.

Hey. Thank you so much for this. This is 100% exactly what I have been looking for. I contacted cross trailers and they told me I need to go through a reseller. I have on in my area. They are telling me 6-8 weeks. How long did yours take? Also , to make my life easier they were asking me for a vin on yours so they could build another. Would you be willing to share? I would be happy to give to the ability to message me vs putting it here. I appreciate your help. I would love this before my vacation which is 6 weeks away.

Those pre-designed DIY assembly kits sound like a wonderful idea as well. At this time, I personally have no knowledge of any other Teardrop camper manufacturer's that manufacturer's and sells such an item. - Thanks "HYK" for producing and selling such an item.

In Reference to that Square-Backed version. I would have made the rear Galley door open upward not sideways, as by opening upward, it could double as an overhead weather-shield to help keep rain out of the galley compartment, and to help shield the cook (the better Half), while she or he is cooking during rain storms. That's all you need (not), is a cook with their day ruined by getting wet during a rain storm whle trying to do the cooking of which will invaribly make everybody's day misserable because the cook is wet, miserable and grouchy. P. S. Also by opening upward, it also helps keep the hot sun off the cook while cooking too. That too will make her or him happy as well. Just saying.

Really? You stated that "Trying to make one of those teardrop camping trailers is pretty silly these days when there are so many different manufacturers around building them?" - Not Hardly. -- Not when they want $10,000.00 dollars or more for them. Even the "Basic" HYK highway (on Road), version is $11,000.00 without any frills, whistles, or other additions. The fact is.... I built my own for approximately a little over $500.00 dollars total including materials, certified state inspection, title, license plates, and vehicle (RV), registration. When I can buy one of their factory manufactured ones (from any of the Manufacturer's), for that price or even for a $1,000.00 then I will do so, otherwise, they don't need to leave the light on waiting for me to arrive to buy one of theirs, as their' manufactured ones are way, way, out my affordable price range. I'm not saying that their' manufactured teardrop camping trailers are not great quality products, because they are great products and built to excellent quality standards. I'm just saying they are all way, way, out of my affordable price range by about $10,000.00 worth, and even more so now that all of these high Biden induced inflation prices have hit the nation.

I just bought a used 4x6x5 like this with the ramp. Converting it to a camper/toy hauler... Added 2 windows on the road side and a 26x36 door on the passenger side. Short cabinet in the "V" will hold a 32" TV, Speakers and all elec equipment. Thinking of a ramp room extension!
