Thanks for posting. If you have not, then you must see Clapton live. Most bands are a joke compared to Clapton when playing live including bands I love. Clapton and the whole band play so clean that you can hear every note, every detail.

Hearing this takes me back. I’m 18 years old again, driving across Michigan with my best friend on the way back from spring break in Colorado. Bob Seger was playing on the cassette tape as we cruised along I-94 towards Detroit. At times we were singing along - but mostly we were quietly contemplating what was to lie ahead of us after high school graduation. Listening to Seger, I often get lost in my thoughts. I think he wrote some songs for that purpose….. Sound track for my life. One of the best.

Wow! I love Eric Clapton , but the “wow” moments can be exceptions every now and then , that said: his solo here is some of his best I’ve ever heard! Very creative and a bit “dissonant”, “left of center” feeling - all improvised.
