It was supposed to look gothic - every other show or media is unnecessarily dark & depressing. This show's season 1 was supposed to look like that, whereas s2 should've looked bright as this. The films had that dark, horror, magic & intrigue! (Love the new cast though)

Hollywood pushing immoral and anti family values every second they can. It’s intentional. Sad times.

I'm glad to see Douglas Booth as hero, BUT his character in this movie seems kind of a jerk? At least from the trailer, it seems like he's trying to break up a girl and her fiancee because he wants her with no respect to her commitment and relationship. Not sure why romcoms love showing the male love interest act in toxic ways.

I love this adaptation and I hope a second season is confirmed soon. When I saw it I finished it in one day because it was so addictive and good. I just hope they don't cancel it.
