Thanks for the video. I wish you could show us with rear seats down as well. I know golf clubs will definitely fit, but wanted actually see how well they are fitting with the seats down. Do you think 2 golf clubs and 2 x push cart will fit?

yes, 2 sets and 2 foldable push carts should fit. Unless you have the huge carts that don't fold.

Great review of the NX 450H , thanks. ! I owned a 21 Rav Prime XSE for 3 yrs., put on 50K mi. Best vehicle ever! Super car power, great & I really utilized the plug in feature + pure electric range. Got the new Land Cruiser now, great ride but very hard to spend 4X the $$ fuel bill!! I'm going back to the plug in, I ordered the NX450H made in Japan. Note long highway drivers only : a "plug in" is at least a 500lb heavier vehicle, go w/ hybrid.

It appears he has the same issue I did when installing this on a new Prius. If you notice in the videos the left side of the large cover isn’t up against the windshield. In my case the new cover isn’t deep enough to allow room for the camera cable and the whole piece rocks from left to right and won’t settle flush against the windshield resulting in the left side being loose. Hope everyone has better luck but I finally just removed the camera and reinstalled the stock covers. You can see the gap at 9;13 in the video

what diffuser do you recommend? i heard toyota changed the rear diffuser and there one piece now… planning on buying a diffuser but i need one for my 2025 xse 😭

Yes, it is one piece now. Check out my cat back install video to see how I removed the piece for my quad tips. I was looking at the ikon diffuser. But haven't gotten around to it yet. I just put in leather seat covers.

I'm not happy with the side skirts, so I didn't make a video for it. They are just cheap generic ones from eBay.

I don't have experience, but I would would recommend a Corolla specific one that will line up perfectly with the plastic pins underneath. The way the eos lip lines up perfectly

My son LOVED that lip. Unit he took a dip too fast and it broke. I recommend the 3 piece lip if your car is lowered. This one is great if you are riding stock.

I've been reading mixed statements from people on other videos telling me these clips break when you pull out the seat, was that your experience?

I have pulled them about 4 times already. They have not broken, but my car is pretty new. But yes, these plastic clips can get brittle and break.

Concerning the "initial spark" when you hook up the battery cables. Batteries give off hydrogen when charging, and it is possible (not probable) that the hydrogen that MAY be present could be ignited by that initial spark. If you have never had a battery blow up in your face, you want to keep it that way. Just maybe use the battery cover to fan some air and disperse any hydrogen that MIGHT be present. Will this inverter make clean enough electricity to power a computer or charge cordless power tool batteries? Fabulous video.

Just an FYI, these battery banks are more efficient on dc than they are on ac since the inverter uses energy. If you can find dc cords for your cpap, the battery will last longer. Those cords come with many of the smaller battery banks and come in many types of plugs. Airsense 10 and the AS11/Airmini are some of those. Turning off heat and humidity will extend the usage time a fair bit more.

@@GearGadgetExperiments We have EasyLonger battery banks and they came with all the fittings. The 960 will give my husband a 9 hour night with his settings of 11 -17 and hose temp at 17, humidity at 4. I have a 720 but I cannot get a full night with my settings of 8 - 11; hose temp 18; humidity 3. The 960 is a very nice portable and I can get 6 nights with the heat and humidity off. Now we have the Bluetti AC70 with pass through charging supplying power to the EasyLongers that in turn power our cpaps. Even when the Bluetti runs down, then the EasyLongers continue with what they have in the tank.

Well done , I guess there's no easy shortcuts...my problem is that one basically have to be a Contortionist to get into those cramped spaces...and at my age , this is no easy feat... I'm basically in traction for a week after the exercise...😂

haha. It is a bit tricky. But wedge the rear first. Slide in the belt buckles into the slots. Slide chair back and push down at same time.

How the new HU-Dasaita holding up? You channel was recommended by YT. Does it have a Navigation feature of its own without pairing the iPhone Google map? I noticed the backup camera didn't have gridline. I have a '17 rav4 xle premium. So this should work. Mine has the stock USB socket below then HU with the eco, sport beside it. I plug my own USB to listen to music. Did it retain that feature? Nice vidio upload. But I didn't see the GPS module in your unboxing so I Don't know if the unit is capable. Did you retain all the features on the steering wheel? Thanks!

Son's friend really likes it. But you should hook up the microphone. She says she has to speak really loud without it. I think you can add the lines on the backup camera (?) . I don't remember about GPS outside of CarPlay, you can check the specs on the provided in video description. Haven't tried usb to play music, but the beauty of carplay is playing music through your phone and having a nice interface.

I decided on a soft top roll-up on my Maverick for one reason. You can utilize the full bed because it rolls up all the way to the window. With tri-folds you lose the front part of the bed if you are hauling something taller than the cover. With a short 4 1/2' bed I need all the space I can get. Edit- AND he mentions that near the end after I already commented... 👍

The Rav4 Prime and NX are the same car with the same chassis, driveline and hard points, so it basically comes down to which you prefer for trim and ride. The great thing about the commonality, is many mechanical spare parts will be cheaper then you would expect for a Lexus, as they are the same parts as the Rav4 range. One of the reasons the car is on my shopping list for my next car as I keep my cars long term.

Great video. Hardest part was using enough force to remove the plastic trim without breaking it. The rest is cake and is basically the same installation on 23+ RX350. Slightly disappointed with the camera quality however. But at least it’s wire free and looks OEM.

Make sure you connect the back up camera wire . Another viewer had the same issue and connected the wrong wire.

Yes, it would be used for phone calls. If your voice is sounding far, I would try the mic.

How do you connect wireless CarPlay? I had iPhone 13 with lightning cable then upgraded to iPhone 15 forcing to get new cable. USB a to usb c. Now radio doesn’t switch in CarPlay with new cable.

I followed this exactly, but the unit doesn't power on! I tested the unit straight to the battery, which works fine and turns on, but it doesn't work when wired up to the car. No power at all to the unit. Any idea of things I can check/try? Thank you!

sounds like the connections to power and/or ground are bad. I would double check the connections. Do you have a volt meter? Make sure it is ~12v across those lines. If you read 12v then check the ACC 12v line to make sure it is 12v when the key is turned. Good luck

Got it to work, the issue was I had blown both car fuses that go to the radio! I think I did this by trying wires in the wrong places but then got a multimeter and made sure I was connecting the correct wires. This was an awesome tutorial video and really clear to follow along to! I've never really done much electrical things so appreciate you going through every step so clearly. Got it all working perfectly in the end!
