Axial depth should be 1.5mm from the "DEJ" and not from the outer proximal surface.

It can be amalgam, if you choose to do so. You check a box for which material you´re going to restore, composite or amalgam.

@helyballa yes you can mark the teeth, just not take out of the arch\mouth

@alandsanchez5558 thank you for your response. You´re right, during ADEX/CDCA Exam, you can mark the teeth with pencil, and even do lines on the gums for path of insertion and interproximal reduction guidance, as I showed on a previous video. As long as at the end you rinse the whole typodont and erase any marks. But for those doing Bench Tests, that´s up to the program you´re applying for. You have to ask them.

Maybe re-record the video with a better putty matrix. If you need to hold it down with your finger to engage it, you didn’t make it correctly.

Putty contracts sometimes during the setting process, which drives to that opening. If it's minimal, holding with a finger to make it stable is not a big deal. During the exam, time management is crucial. If you have a regular set putty and you have this little manageable distortion, would you prefer wasting 5-6 minutes of the exam just to make a "perfect" one? I wouldn't. I teach people how to learn from mistakes and how to handle them.

If they allow you to use a pencil, draw the lines. If they don't, you have to practice with the lines prior to the exam as much as you get to a point that you don't need the lines anymore. You imagine them.

For ADEX/CDCA exams, it is allowed to use pencil over the typodont. I meant Bench Test exams, if the program you're applying to allows you to use a pencil. Some do, and some don't.
