This is a very good and educative presentation, the post of a Sultan is actually more than.what an individual can overturn as the emirate is not limited to Sokoto State alone but entire nation. Kudos to you for that enlightenment.

It’s sad seeing all of these happening. Politics have bastardized our customs and traditions.

One major take from this video is that the influence of politicians on traditional rulership didn't start today. Maybe it's more now but it was always there

Politicians are now toying with traditional rulers. This is alarming.

History will always repeat itself. For Kanawas, especially those who sit on the fence concerning the issue always comment that each sphere should stand on its own. Just like the comment I have read here by @dorothybeninga. Politics should be politics and tradition should be tradition. Interference will cause both to loose it essence especially the latter side.

There's actually nothing to celebrate about Nigerian Democratic System. 25years of backwardness and untold hardship. Inflation is on the high side, citizens are gnashing their teeth and people in power are getting fatter, while making others poorer. People's investments are being destroyed by wicked politicians for their selfish interest. Oboi!!!!
