Hi! I save the onion ends in a freezer bag along with chicken/ beef bones, celery leaves, carrot ends. Scraps. When I fill up the bag I make my own bone broth.

Hi Lynn, I finally made it over and it took me all day to watch, lol. It was a good video! I've tried different things with cutting onions but none of them have worked so far. I'll definitely try this. Thanks for the supplement info . I've always taken my vitamin D at night so now I'll switch it out. Food prep looks delicious, especially the soup. Tfs💖

Hi Lynn! Great video! I would say my cooking hack that I have been doing is using Idahoan instant mashed potatoes when I make my roasts. They are really good, and such a time saver. Your meals look yummy! Thank you for sharing! Have a great upcoming weekend! Our Costco is opening in March!

Costco has a really nice center cart for 99.00, I watch a u tube channel of a lady who has 11 children her very into eating health she from Wisconsin . She bought 2 of them.

Oh those oats sound good. Can you tell me how much sugar is in a serving. I just make my oats with oats, yogurt, peanut butter (no sugar), oat milk, banana and blueberries. I throw some cinnamon in there and a little vanilla extract.

@TheLibraryMouseGina Total sugar is 10g, added sugar is 6g. The majority of sugar is coming from blueberries, cranberries, cherries and coconut sugar, it's 13%. The best thing about this Oatmeal is that it is glyphosate free, which often occcurs in other oatmeal's; however, total carbs is 38grams and Fiber is 7grams.

Cosco is the best I try not to go a lot because I spend around $300 to $500 that’s a lot and because it’s in bulk I bring so little.

I don't live near a Costco, yep my luck they built one after I sold my homestead because f my hubby health they have a sam club and B.J. but I like Costco much better.

Good morning my friend, here enjoying watching never in a million years did I know damp wash cloth takes away the tears 😭 but I’m going to try for sure I cry a lot when I pill onions , when I worked on Sundays I would cook for the whole week because my husband was hurt for many years so I always had to have food made for him and I picked Sundays because most of the time I worked 6 days.

We haven't seen the coconut sparkling water yet, but I am excited to try it. 👍 We also don't have that jam at our store - I find those options tend to be more local. Great buys! ♥

@LargeFamilyHomestead I always find the coconut water in the back of the store and the Harmless Harvest I find in the refrigerator section. I just found Good Good jam, so maybe your store will get it soon. I love that jam, because it doesn't have any added sugar.

I love the wood paneling. So vintage. 💜 I have an odd question. In the state of Michigan, can you be a foster parent if you are on disability? I figured you might know. I'm getting conflicting information.

@Hatterhouse Yes, you can be a foster parent here in Michigan if you are on disability. Many of our families are on disability for a variety of reasons. We have grandparents fostering grandchildren and who are also on disability. I would think the only time a disability would get in the way is if it was something like "alcoholism".

Yes I always reused my seals but only for pickles jellies and jams or anything water bath canner. And yes reused them for over 10 years and the best jars I've reused are the old peanut butter jars. You just have too put them in boiling water before you out them in the jars. Tried & true.

The weather has been so weird. One day I was in town, and it was sunny and the weather was fine. I drive thirty miles west and I'm in a complete white out!! I know Gaylord got a lot of snow too. The snow hills are HUGE!! lol...Yes, I'm on the road everyday, and sometimes three hours a day. Thank you Lori June 🥰

Ohhh I thought you were replacing the white refrigerator. It is so nice you have that extra space to put it. What is the next thing you are saving for. I think today I’m going to try those bagels . I’ll have to try that cream soda..I love cream soda. I only buy those poppi or olli pops once in a great while but it’s a good treat.

@Xmasgina64 Exciting, right?! lol...I LOVE having this extra fridge space and I'm excited for the space for the vegetable harvest this summer. It's definitely easier to make the bagels with yogurt, since you don't have to blend it. The next big thing is getting that tree cut. I need it for the garden/sun space. I will be planting fruit trees in place of it. More than likely cherry trees and apple trees. They seem to do the best in Michigan.

Oh we read One Thing when I was a realtor because Gary Keller started Keller Williams. White turtle necks and crews go with everything. I found a nice cream turtle necks sweater at TJ maxx. The bagels I definitely want to try.

Also I forgot to add what I am watching. Well on TV the only real show I watch is Abbot Elementary. I love that show. But the Bachelor just started so I may watch that. On Netflix I am trying not to binge Queer Eye. I LOVE that show so much. Also watching Heartstopper and another one with Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano but I forgot the name of it.

I like cold weather, but below zero, is a pain, all my diesels are hard to start and tending livestock is a no fun at all. Stay warm and have a wonderful week! 👍🏻

@oldcampRanch Yes, I agree below zero is for sure a pain, and when you have livestock and have to start those tractors and such that run off diesel fuel, it can be grueling. My Dad was raised on a farm and we lived on a dairy farm for awhile, so I remember those cold mornings and gathering cows at 2am! it was not fun.

I'm amazed all that you get done so early in the morning. I just want to sit and drink my coffee and watch KZbin. Of course, I'm retired, lol. I cut my bell peppers the same way. I don't watch TV but my husband has it on all the time (but not things I'm interested in). I do love Tim Allen. I didn't know he had a new show. Oh, I love Hallmark shows when I do watch. I wonder what kind of temps we'll have in February ..it an be our coldest month. Glad you finally got your new refrigerator. Oh the macaroon looks yummy! Have a wonderful week!
