V mojom pripade po vymene 1 litra nebol citit ziaden rozdiel, mozno po komplet vymene by bol volant jemne citlivejsi, ale nemal som ziaden problem pred vymenou, bolo to skorej pre vlastne potesenie

But if you repeat this simple process several times, the steering pump will circulate the new fluid through the system - yes it will not be 100% new fluid, it will be mixed with the old one, but after several flushes the fluid mix will be much cleaner

Hello Erich, yes I kept it unplugged for app. 15-20 minutes to drain the last electricity from the clock circuits. After I plugged the clock back, it was working. Hope it will help you

Ano, je potrebné nakódovať novú baterku. Auto bude fungovať aj bez tohto kroku, ale presne ako píšeš, auto dobíja rôzne podla stavu baterky a potreby dobíjania. Ja som si to nakódoval cez Carly adaptér. Je to jednoduché

Hi, sorry for my late reply. This engine is N62 an it is equiped with resonators and mufffler as well. In this case we have deleted only the resonators.

ja zatial nemôžem nič zlé povedať na tieto gumy, sú mäkké, dobre držia. Možno záleží aj od daného kusu, ktoré človek kúpi. Môj otec objednal pneumatiky online z nejakého webu , došli preležané staré gumy zo skladu z Nemecka. Tie aj reklamoval. V dnešnej dobe nevieme, odkial pneumatiky prídu a ako dlho stoja v sklade. Tieto moje boli čisto nové , takže zatial spokojnosť :)

I agree with you, K&N has better air flow, but they had to keep the filtering function at certain level, therefore they use special oil impregnation, which works as a "glue" and is catching the dust particles. I am not an specialist, therefore I cannot tell you if the filtration of K&N is better or worse than stock paper filters. I haven´t had any troubles , but I drove only app 6 000 km with them. So hard to say, the car runs and drives :)

Hi Arnoldas, well that is a good question. K&N has lifetime warranty, which means you don´t have to change it, but you have clean it at least once a year, so you need to buy their Cleaning kit for extra 15€ and recreate the oil film on it. The filter itself cost app. 130€. So you are right the simple math says if simple filter cost app. 30€ then in 5 years you are on the same costs level. If you keep the K&N and you keep the car for more than 5 years, you are saving the money. The main fact and difference is, that K&N filter is a Performance filter, you can feel it slightly on the acceleration if you are driving the same car as I do, with the same engine 4.8 liter. But from my personal experience, if you use any performance filters on any smaller engine car especially without turbos, there is not much difference - performance filter = burned money. If you would like to tune your car and you are willing to invest lots of money into engine rebuild, exhaust tuning etc, then you have to change the filter for performance filter, because the standard filter might not have that good air flow and can restrict the performance. Summary - yes it has better air flow than standard filter and it might increase performance of your car, but the car must also have the potential and power. When you drive according to the law and you are not speeding, racing etc - then buy standard filter, you will save money.

Yeah, I have the same engine 4.8i. What exactly differences on the acceleration have you noticed? I don't think the car suddenly became with turbos or got more horses. That's why I ask is it worth it.

@@Arnaudis Hi, you are right, the car will not magically gain 50 HP :D . When there is more powerful car, which has more than app 250 - 300 HP and more , then you might increase the power output of the car for app. 2-4 HP . In my case, I have also deleted the exhaust resonators - located app under the driver - so maybe in this combination with airfilter might have small effect - hard to say I have never run the car on Dyno so it is just my subjective feeling. What I felt on the acceleration is, that 1st and 2nd gear gest faster in engine revolutions, like you can feel that it revs a little bit easier and faster, but again, it can be just my placebo feeling, it wasn´t properly tested.

Zdravim Róbert, toto sa mi ešte nestalo, že by som ju omylom vytiahol alebo o ňu nejako zavadil. No takýto scenár som ani neskúšal. Musím to overiť a ozvem sa. Nemyslím si ale, že sa karta zafixuje po naštartovaní, podla mňa ju bude možné vybrať a predpokladám, že sa auto vypne. Ale s finálnym verdiktom sa ešte ozvem. Rasťo
