I think in this video we were using the Sapphire 1200se which is a direct drive unit. We also run the zipper wands with an Apex GT and a Dynachem 534.

Can you please give a honest opinion on what Orbital machine is the best. I can only afford one. I was sold on the orbital vibe but after watching your video on the tip blooming and the mytee eco bearings problem. I just don’t know now! Please help.

We primarily use the Trinity Phoenix now. Great reliable cleaning machine! Very simple to use and repair if need be.

I really dont like the velcro pad holder! Velcro Chews up the pads more than the red bristle type pad holders. + the velcro gets plugged up with fiber strands, then it dosnt hold the pad as well.

You have a great memory! I’ve used so many different vacuums in videos, I didn’t actually remember recording any with that vacuum. We went through 2 of them and they broke. Did really like them though. I should get another. Currently running Shark Apex Duos. Once in awhile the Workhorse.

I hate the mytee. Its heavy as hell. Shakes the crap out of me and those bristles are really rough on pads. They tear up after awhile. Especially the mytee pads. They tear up right in the middle of a job. And yes its very noisy. Especially when that bearing is about to go out. Ive never used a vibe. But I had a minuteman ros 17 that I like. Its plastic but its light weight, doesnt shake so much and its quieter. How ever there are these rubber shock absorbers that hold the motor in place that keeps breaking. Kind of a bad design. But other than the rubber shock absorbers its great. And affordable. Im looking to get a Cimex real soon

Awesome video. I am about to me an order of pads and I would like your take on this...How many pads do you think is a safe number of f microfiber vs iron man or cotton pads to order to know i can safely clean some carpet to extracting soil in lets say a 6 room house(4 bedrooms, hallway, 1 flight of stairs)?
@northlandsteamcleaners7806 ай бұрын
I’d say 1-2 microfiber would be enough per house if you follow it up with cotton. Then 1 cotton pad per room or area after that to extract. I do around 2000 square feet with microfiber and 200 sf per cotton pad. So that 1 house I’d use 1 microfiber and 6 cotton.
@wes89866 ай бұрын
Amazing insight and knowledge you just dropped. I assume I use less scrub pads than scrubbing for the initial phase? When extracting with the cotton pads if I flip it do you think that could reduce the number of pads need from 15 to about 8?
@northlandsteamcleaners7806 ай бұрын
It really depends on soil level and moisture used. I don’t flip my cotton pads, once they fill up with moisture and dirt they’re done and I don’t find that flipping them adds to any more use. 200-400 sf is about all they’ll do whether you flip or not.
