I heard a theory that each monster represents mental disorders/fears Noodle: Claustrophobia (from being shipped in a FedEx crate twice), PTSD (the El Mañana incident), and anxiety. That’s probably why her monster wouldn’t give her any personal space nor privacy. Russel: has insomnia, sleep paralysis, and the fear of being possessed again, that’s why his monster holds him still in the bed. Murdoc: the fear of genuinely being happy without relying on vices like drugs, alcohol, and kinky sex, due to being abused by his father growing up. This is why he looks like he’s having the time of his life, but in reality he was terrified. 2D: from the way the video portrayed it, he most likely has bulimia nervosa. This can be supported since he has anxiety, was constantly abused by Murdoc, and had a lot of traumatic events in his life. He originally turned to abusing his painkillers to deal with his pain, but those painkillers also killed his appetite… so his weight also gave him a new source of control when he felt like there was almost no control and probably started off as an anorexic in the earlier phases. Eventually he was taken off the painkillers, and the withdrawals can included increased anxiety, and appetite coming back in a vengeance. However by that time he was taken off painkillers, he was already known as the Pretty Boy Frontman singer for the gorillaz, and with his increased appetite, he still had to maintain his “pretty boy” image, which probably led to him developing purging behaviors. Ik it’s a cartoon, but it sorta makes sense in the later phases, 2D is always eating something, he’s also the only one in the group that’s clinically underweight (with the only exceptions being phase 1 when the band started. Also he looked healthy in Phase 5 when Murdoc got locked up), yet he’s in his 40s (noodle is the only one that ages in the group but still), it would be predictable if his character gained weight from all that food, but he never seems too. Also it could explain why his teeth always seem to get worse and worse with each phase. While sure, he lost the first few when Murdoc crashed his car, 2D went flying out the window and essentially gave 2D an 8 ball injury (which doesn’t make you blind btw), so he might have lost a few teeth from there. However his teeth keep getting worse throughout each phase. Also 2D is based off the creator Damon Alburn, and Alburn has opened up about having an eating disorder when he was younger as well, so it’s possible that 2D is or was secretly struggling himself as a character. That’s why he was attacked by food. + if you pay attention to the lyrics, the song is literally about giving into vices, and going broke from a gambling addiction as well. Which supports the theory that this video could be about each bands members Vice/fears/mental issues they struggle with. Also great reaction btw 💜

Ren has been living through hell for 13 years before this release, He is the definition of a tortured soul. L copied this and post it on new reactors messages. He was bitten by a tick when he was 16 or 17 He got really sick from it and went to doctors and they could not figure what was wrong with him. When he had joint pain, muscle spasms, skin rashes, boils, internal organs started shutting down, And Doctors had no idea what was going on. He was loosing weight and had constant fatigue could not even stand to shower.. Doctors started sending him to psychological evaluations, They told him his mind was making him sick ! And started treating him for that with some heavy pharmaceuticals. And all that shit really fucked with his mind, He started believing he was crazy. And this went on for 8 fucking years !! 8 YEARS !! He pursued his own symptoms and lead to a Doctor that gave test for Lyme disease. Where he lived it was very rear to ever contract Lyme disease so he was never tested. When he went in described his symptoms the Doctor knew what he had. Ran the DNA test and found it in his system. However it has been in there for 8 years and has done a lot of damage to his body. He can only eat like 6 things his bones still hurt and the autoimmunity may never be healed. He had to go into surgery to remove tissue to generate stem cells grown outside his body then under go treatment taking the stem cells to remove the Lyme disease chromosome. That was in LA then he went to Calgary and under going treatment on the damage the Lyme left.. He is still there until July. His song Fred Again Mash up is 5 songs from EDM artist Fred Again and Ren put 5 together and made a acoustic version that he poured emotion into to it..

Ashley and Cesar started life in Puerto Rico before their 2 families moved to Florida. So they speak Spanish fluently. I think they met and found each in the arcade and eventually it didn't work out. Have you reacted to We Don't Talk About Bruno (Encanto)? She's in that one with VoicePlay, also Running Up That Hill (Kate Bush/Stranger Things), If I Were a Rich Man/Girl (Fiddler on the Roof), some minis - Shero Reacts, River, Your Turn to Role, Time Warp, Como La Flor (Selena), Pink Panther Theme, and more.

This is a song from the 1980s, first made popular by Bonnie Tyler. The arcade setting and the video effects are a tribute to that era. It's also been covered before by the artist Meat Loaf. The Spanish lyrics are from a version of the song that's popular in Puerto Rico, where Cesar and Ashley are from. You've reacted to another VoicePlay videos that featured Ashley: she was in their cover of We Don't Talk About Bruno. The song can be interpreted as a breakup song, which definitely seems to be what VoicePlay was going for here. But I think it could also be seen as someone describing a complicated, scary or even dangerous relationship and needing their partner's love and reassurance--that seems to fit the original Bonnie Tyler video better.

They did a great cover of one of my favorite Bonnie Raitt songs. Bastien's voice was perfect for the lead. Everyone sounded awesome in the background vocals, Rob with his bluesy sound, Tim's bass & Adam's vocal percussion. Looking forward to more of the new songs with the newest member.

Fantastic! Just like I knew it would be! I'm excited to see more of the energy and smiles Bastien brings to the group. They made a great choice for this addition to Home Free. . I hope people realize he wasn't picked to replicate Austin . No one could do that. He was picked for the great things he can add. You can see how comfortable they seem together. Thanks for the reaction! 🫶💪 The recording session without the video is for her song called "This time" from 2007 and she was literally crying recording it. It is about a woman who is abused by her partner 😣😣😣 yet she decides that that time was the last time. You can find the whole video for sure. It was not an easy task for Celine to sing it. She's never been in a situation like that and it's the only song she' recorded about this specific topic so far. Peace 🫶
