I was walking through wgtn city in New zealand and locked eyes with Rudolf Nureyev.. no words spoken only instant recognition as he went by...he was a vision to behold a beautiful being RIP RN 🙏

Nureyev was not the most exciting male dancer in the world. Just in the West. In retrospect, he was not even that good; but he had electricity on stage.

Yes, actually u are quite right. He was not exceptionally brilliant dancer but he did have super intense charisma/stage presence. I can see why he was ultra famous.
