it goes off once the abs sensors get a turning signal from the wheels, its normal

if its blinking at 0kmh then its good, if its going off above 5kmh its also good and working, if its lighting 0-24 then the ABS is turned off or not working, its the same working method on all S1000RR

What I don't like about most people with small bikes is, that they try to act like they are sitting on 1000ccm bikes. It's hilarious to see them on the street with akrapovic exhausts and stuff while they struggle to keep up with the normal traffic.

With the BMW you don't struggle to keep up with normal traffic... They are quite good and capable, only on the highway over 80mph they start to run out of breath a bit, but certainly in normal conditions and keeping to speed limits, they are more than adequate - oh. .and fun!

Yes there were 6,000 total 50% base and 50% competition spec. Plus the 750 HP4 Race models

Best S1000 RR I’ve yet seen, sure the 2nd gen newer model may have better performance, but on looks and details this is on a whole other level in my opinion. Even better than the M1000 RR

I am a huge fan of aftermarket (loud) exhaust. But one cautionary note for carbon fiber exhaust on an "adventure bike". Carbon fiber looks good and has good strength to weight ratio, but it isnt as "puncture resistant" as metal. Which is bad for an offroad motorcycle that has small rocks constantly thrown at it from the rear tire. I had an aftermarket carbon fiber exhaust on a R1200 GS Adv that I ride hard on offroad single track even, and on a 10,000 mile trip to Alaska in 2020 my exhaust developed a pin hole from a rock chip. Of coarse I was at the Arctic Ocean on the Dalton Highway when it happened so the pin hole turned into a 12" split down the entire inside length of the exhaust before I could get to Fairbanks and replace it. Just food for motorcycle thought.

The stock exhaust sound is horrible from this recording, which amplifies a little the sound of metallic parts bumping each other. The Akrapovic exhaust has a much better sound, what is up to discussion is if the cost makes this upgrade worth or not. Here where I live it costs 1000 USD.

No, the low suspension is optioned this way from Bremerhave (the factory) which includes a different spring set front and rear, ESA parameters which differ, different side stand and center stand.

Don't know why people keep saying it's Honda colours. Bmw are using these colours since the 70's long before honda ever did. Check on the famous bmw 2002 for example.

David Murphy no they dont. The bmw HP Rwcing colours are different. In combination with the golden rims its an exact cooy of the honda africa twin and transalp scheme of the 80ies goo.gl/images/PxLMig
