I haven't visited in March but I imagine fairly similar to February! Maybe slightly warmer? I did read that daylight hours start to lengthen in March so that could be nice, too. If you go in March, come report back on your experience if you rmr to do so :)

Can you share where you like stay in Monmartre? And why do like staying in Monmartre over other areas in Paris?
@globegazers12 күн бұрын
I've generally stayed in Airbnbs, and I like to choose ones that are within walking distance of the Abbesses or Lamarck-Caulaincourt metro stations. The reason I like to stay there is I personally enjoy the look and feel of the area. It's easy to get around to other parts of Paris via train or bus, and then to feel a bit removed from the 'city center' by being in this other charming neighborhood. For me, it's more of a feeling - I just feel drawn to Montmartre. But there are many great areas to stay and another I enjoyed one visit was staying in the 6th arrondissement - St. Germain des Pres

@@globegazers Where you booked (if you recommend it!) and a little bit more about what the experience was like?
@globegazers18 күн бұрын
@@morsejk1 Gotcha! The airbnb where I stayed was above a yoga studio and they also offer the Temezcal experience - look into Mariana Water (Agua Mariana). Some experiences are with groups, mine was solo and I liked that. It was long, longer than I expected it to be, so I wouldn't make any concrete plans for right after. Plus you'll probably want to just relax afterward. The first part of the experience includes practicing emotional release while you're in a hot sauna. I felt self conscious and struggled with this knowing the woman was on the other side and could hear me! This is how I am in my day-to-day life though, I don't like letting people see me get emotional. So afterward she spent additional time with me working to help me get to a point where I could feel through some stuff a bit at least and I did appreciate the individual attention on some blocked feelings I had bottled. Then after all that, another woman came in and I had a massage. Overall it was a very interesting and overall calming/relaxing experience. I felt safe and secure in this environment too so yes, I do recommend. If you end up doing it, I'd love to hear what you feel about your experience, too!
