When you see the ambition and drive the Unity team had and then compare Unity even as half-baked as it was to Mirage its hard to appreciate any of Ubisoft's titles within the last decade.

This I believe was one of the last 'handmade' Ubisoft title's, now Ubisoft uses a 'toybox' style where they doubled down on the 'lego-building block' (massive library of assets they plop down) they also moved away from mocap (again now they use 'toybox' style basic idles and mouth movement)

The reason overwatch 2 sucks just like any other multiplayer game is the constant reliance of getting good teammates…I get such horrible teammates making me loose as I am very good on tank and level 65 on JQ and I’m also good at DPS. Whoever has the better teammate wins and that’s it and that’s why I hate team games I’m more of an independent player so I love games like DBD.

I've played all the mainline series since Assassin's Creed 2, and have played 556 hours of Odyssey and 795 hours of Valhalla. They are not great game at all, of course. But Mirage is simply the worst Assassin's Creed yet. The characters are horribly ugly inheriting from Valhalla, especially all the female characters are hopelessly ugly. The combat system is just a terrible crime. Even worse than Assassin's Creed 2. Every character interaction sucks, and the world feels like a dead Matrix. The saddest part is that Shadows also utilize the same horrible Mirage Art Style and Shaders. Female characters will be horribly ugly and full of LGBTQ+ propaganda.

Ubisoft used to make banger games since PS2 days. I love AC Mirage, my comeback to the franchise after AC3.

I have to disagree with the driving, I found it to be tight but very responsive and I consider it to probably have some of the best driving in the series alongside with San Andreas. And considering how big gta 5's map is, driving around with 4's slidey physics would be annoying. I think both 4 and 5's physics fit perfectly on their map imo.

It was mostly good but the combat was really bad in Mirage

If back and side ejects were manual and the parkour let you mess up it would be top 4 with brotherhood unity and ac1

There’s two ways to play this game. 1. A fan returning to the series after they saw its “going back to its roots” because they quit after origins. 2. As a long time ac fan who has played pretty much all their games. They try to please both of these people but end up disappointing more than pleasing because of its lackluster gameplay janky parkour and a story that could’ve been written by AI. It’s a regression from every single game in the series because every game in the series does it better.

I lent and finished AC 3 on the ps3 a while back and it being one of my favorite games of all time, i’m not expecting any other ac game to top it. I also own Syndicate and Unity and bought 3 remastered but am willing to play other ac games first so which one should i play next?

Mirage worst game than origins odyssey and Valhalla, u just kidding or kinda retard

Ubisoft isn't lying when they say Mirage will return to its roots. Stealth is the top priority, frontal combat is not advisable, and i feel like i play AC Unity or Syndicate because we can be creative on how we assassinate our target. The world is not so big which is a good thing for me, you won't feel overwhelmed by exploring it, same goes for the gear collection. The only things i "hate" are, the story is kinda short, there are not so many targets to be killed if you compare to the previous games (take AC1 for example). One more thing, in my opinion, the ending kinda makes me think Basim turned into bad guy, at the near end of the game you can see Enkidu realized something has changed and sensed an evil within Basim. I mean, at least we know the reasons why Basim acted like that in Valhalla. Conclusion : AC Mirage is the Redemption arc of Ubisoft. If you played old AC games, you will feel nostalgic. We will feel like we play old AC games again, just with different box (i mean, different game engine where Mirage use "RPG" game engine like previous RPG trilogy) Edit : This is my hot take (which you can agree or disagree). Ubisoft will flip up AC with the release of Shadows. The Redemption Arc of Ubisoft started and ended in Mirage.

Reinhardt's story could even be extended into existentialism. I really wished we got to see more of Rein's POV on how he reincorporated himself into a normal life, how people saw him after he was forced into retirement, how he responded to those questions and the emotions he left seeing Overwatch crumbling apart. Imagine dedicating almost 20+ years of your life to one cause only and only focusing on that. It sucks Blizzard made these great characters with alot of potential for amazing story telling and yet we'll probably never get more of it because they still can't decide if 5v5 or 6v6 is the better format.

as much as i like ow1 doom being an doom main, I hate to say this but i think ow2 is fundamentally designed better. I don't say this because it fits ow2's gameplay better but its easier to tweak and nerf without it ruining its kit to much and ow1 doom was either really good to play as or he just get's CC'd and is unplayable. Fun but it payed the price of balancing. I wished though most of the heroes later on in ow1 was brought back (from the day 1 release of them too like ana or doom for example).
