Saw them live in montreal in 2003. Well worth the drive from central VT. They opened for coldplay.

@casaraku1 were they? I remember telling my girlfriend at the time I was way more into The Music, than Coldplay 😂. I will actually never forget that trip. It was absolutely freezing out, I'm used to cold weather, but that night was brutal! I remember driving up and there being a good 12"+ of snow on the road. That stretch of road after you leave vermont and there's just nothing for awhile. Overall one of the better concerts I've been too. Could really care less about Coldplay, especially anything really after 2003 lol.

Saw Rob and Adam do a short acoustic set at Tower Records in Shibuya while they were here at that time. They played Open Your Mind, which may have been one of the few times they ever did.

I will never ever forget this. As a reasonably savvy National fan at the time I had no idea about this song. Matt said they were not going to leave the stage and waste our time because of the countdown clock they were obligated too. So not only was it my intro to “About Today” when he picked up and threw the clock across the stage …..wow ❤
