The correct term for THR HLD is Throttle Hold. In Boeing terminology, especially with the B737 and similar aircraft, THR HLD on the Flight Mode Annunciator (FMA) indicates that the autothrottle is in a "hold" mode where it temporarily disengages throttle adjustments, allowing the pilot to control thrust manually if needed.

Are your videos from Airbus? Are these OFFICIALLY used by pilots training for a type rating on the A320? I ask because I chose to research the A320 for my Aviation college class that I'm taking this summer. I want to make sure this video is a good source of information.
@aviationknowledge-ar7 ай бұрын
Yes, all the videos uploaded in the channel are used by pilots for training.

Друг, спасибо большое! Я пишу большую книгу про этот самолет на русском языке для русскоязычного комьюнити. К сожалению, на славянских языках давольно мало такие подробных разборов, спасибо большое!!
So glad I found your videos...absolutely SUBSCRIBED. Thanks a lot.

Great and educational video, thanks! I have to watch carefully because of the somewhat low resolution though.

You should be able to choose up to 720
@janmcostar Жыл бұрын
@@aviationknowledge-ar Thank you! I even see and selected 1080. Nevertheless the image is not clear. It looks like it's a copy of a low-resolution video where the copy is high-res, but the original is not. For example, the 'AVIATION KNOWLEDGE' icon in the lower right corner is crystal clear, howerever, the actual information in the video is not.

1:29:21 Wouldn’t a higher descent speed (310 versus 300) lead to a steeper and therefore higher path rather than the lower path shown here? See also 1:28:39.
@aviationknowledge-ar Жыл бұрын
Yes indeed what the change in speed shown is the flight new path after updating the speed. Faster = Stepper

@@aviationknowledge-ar Lovely mate, thanks these CBT's. If you dont mind me asking; does Airbus make these courses for pilots or is it done by the airlines themselves for pilot training?

Hi Sr, is this A320 (Classic, Enhanced, CEO) CBT? A320 NEO CBT? Or its a general CBT for all of them? Thanks

Is the same for all of them
@vassilisbakounis82635 ай бұрын
It is Classic (mentions and describes GPCU). In the Enhanced Electrical Power Generating System (EEPGS), the two EGIUs are removed and a new control unit replaces the GPCU and the APU GCU. Both Integrated Drive Generators (IDGs) are also replaced by two new ones (12.000 rpm in the old ones, and 24.000 rpm in the new ones). The EEPGS includes two main engine Generator Control Units (GCU) and a Ground and Auxiliary Power Control Unit (GAPCU).

hello, I am getting confused in pilot flying and monitoring roles. preflight procedures are always carried based on cpt/fo position, then how does it look regarding all other procedures?
@aviationknowledge-ar Жыл бұрын
Procedures might be different from airline to airline. But in almost every airline the pre flight procedures are separated between CAPT and FO and then in PF or PM. Hope it helps
@Vejiita45 Жыл бұрын
@@aviationknowledge-ar Thank you. I've got 2 additional questions: 1) Who does perform external inspection? Is it PM, before pre flight? 2) Who completes electrical powerup+ preliminary cockpit inspection?
