45rpm glaives have more than a second cooldown between shots. Enough time that you can get a melee in. Also, melees shatter frozen enemies very easily, so it saves on using ammo to do that instead as well.

Sword gang rise up! I’m yet to use that particular build in this GM, so it’s exciting to hear others enjoying it.

The weekly modifier is oscillation: Damage with scouts, pulses, and gls decrease their damage, while increasing the damage of submachine guns and shotguns, and vice versa. You have to juggle damage with weapon types. The buff you get form doing so is very high. Most people in lfg haven't bothered to play into it, and are suffering as a result. The x3 weapon damage debuff makes you do something like 60% ish less damage than usual.

I use aggressive as a matter of preference. Because of the ascension aspect, it seemed a natural pair to have an attack that would send me crashing back down. But I stopped using ascension quickly, and the frame stuck. The other frames feel uncomfortable, sluggish, and not as adaptable moment to moment. There's niche upsides to aggressive frames. I have directional and vertical movement thanks to the heavy attack. The ammo cost for the attack is relatively low, and can oneshot most red bars. The attack also has more aggressive tracking than some realize. It will fully lift me off the ground to smack a hive wizard, for example. I use attrition orbs for Ill Omen because caster frame swords are hands down the best weapon to have them on. Swords take 10 hits to generate an orb, and caster frames do that in one heavy attack. It lets me handle champions very aggressively, even in the middle of groups of enemies.

@@Hiems_Morsus Very insightful. I don't have an arc conducter aggressive frame but I do have the wave frame. You bring up a good point with wizards.
