The emptiness machine is the press, the critics. An industry that only produces emptiness, meaninglessness. It "cuts you open", scrutinizes everything "just to watch you bleed" and is never happy about anything you do. "I only wanted to be part of something", as in you only wanted to be part of a band and have fun, but there are people out there who are only interested in your misery.

it's insane to see where he's been since he 'retired'. most people's T5 songs has at least one he's worked on probasbly now which is fkn insane. Lowkey, I'd kill to see this or JB on the next spiderverse movie, I doubt it'll happen but man it'd be so cool

NUmb in In The End are people's favourite songs because people don't know their music, just the radio hits. Numb is a mediocre song compared to most of them

People still got to see Top Gun even though Tom Cuise is a Scientologist. Someone’s religion is their own business. I don’t even think it’s been confirmed than she is or isn’t but it doesn’t matter to me. She’s cool for the band.

The scary thing about this is that Emily was insanely nervous for her debut performance and in the last two performances in LA and Brooklyn she has improved dramatically so much so that she nailed a 10+ second scream for Given Up and killed the scream singing for Keys to the Kingdom... When she was singing the bridge for Numb it sounded like she was screaming at someone who she felt was angry and upset with her so she's letting them know how she truly feels... It was powerful, you could FEEL it.

yeah man, the left they mic stand vacant for the same period at the Debut Linkin Park Stream 05th Sept. so I figure they thought, do the same for the millions of Jimmy Fallon viewers :) ps I just looked up 'The Emptiness Machine' on Spotify 20/09.... It's got 79 MILLION Streams already.... lol

Yeah , I don't know so much about emily being tired, as it was just the "emotional gravitas" of the moment. This was the Debut 'surprise' Live concert. if you Listen to the 911 LA Concert a week later.., its waaaaay better :)

Was cool how hes treating it like a younger AI self talking to his future/current self on returning to what he used to do

For the contract, he was making 10% in his masters, the label was making 90%. Since he hasn't released, but has been building his resume working for other artists, the label figured it'd be more valuable to have Jon even at 10%. So now Jon is making 90% off his masters and the label 10%. Label being Capitol Records. Only at 5 mins so far so don't know if u alr went over this but saw u asked
@KidVisionReacts6 күн бұрын
@GEISmusic No thanks for clearing that up! The situation rings a bell now after watching the interview with George. Just never heard the phrase "my masters were released."

@@KidVisionReacts no problem! I've been a fan myself of Jon since late 2014 and I've never looked back. He's such an inspiration and has inspired to produce and make my own music starting 7 years ago

No one has ever captured the essence of music like Jon in my opinion. Everything he has done. Every one of the music he has influenced doesn’t just have soul, they have the essence of what music is.

First album I ever bought with my money was hybrid theory. I was like 12.(I wanted a P.Diddy album but my mom said no cause of parental advisory... god damn thanks mom lol). Been a massive fan ever since. She was a perfect choice. I love it. It still sounds like LP. And she can do the old stuff just while ushering in a new era. Its gonna sound different, but most bands that take 7 years off sound different

Emily performed in her TV debut like she was recording in the studio, she gave her all. I can't wait to hear her voice on other new songs on the album, and even features with other artists hopefully, seeing as Eminem and a few others praised her work on the song on Instagram.

@@KidVisionReacts fair enough man, I’m basing my comment off of like half of this single video from the way you are physically reacting to his music and what you’re commenting on. Since you’re talking about the choices he’s making such as when things are more hidden rather than building into a more grand place. I’m making the assumption because a large portion of his music does these things in a very similar fashion. So from the minimal information I have that’s how it presents to me. Clearly you’re saying nah though so I guess I’m wrong lmao
