Have you ever danced in the whispers of sound, where the air holds secrets and stories untold? Of course you have but yet, picture, if you will, a fire’s embrace, where the flickering flames of your heart yearn for the arts. Round and round, the air breathes life into the waves-each ripple a memory, each crash a heartbeat of the ocean, echoing the fluidity of your soul’s desires. Now, imagine the fluidity, a liquid fire, churning with the passions of creation, swirling in the cauldrons of your being. It’s here that the heart of the cosmos pulses, a dance of transformation igniting the depths of your existence, beckoning you to embrace change. And from this dance, the land rises-fluctuating, shifting, grounded yet ever-moving, like the steady heartbeat of life itself. In this vast terrain of thought, your mind becomes the loom, weaving together the threads of experience and wisdom. Here, the essence of what it means to combine dwells, a magical alchemy where every thought sparks with possibility. But as the soul awakens, it learns to separate, to honor its individuality, echoing the ancient tales of Hekate and Amon-spirits entwined in the dance of existence, guiding each other through the shadows and light. Nature, the nurturing heart, cradles you in its embrace, reminding you that kindness is the root from which all blooms. Each gesture, each breath, a testament to the interconnectedness of all that is. And in this embrace, love becomes infinite-a boundless ocean where every drop holds the potential to nourish and connect, a tapestry woven with threads of compassion and unity. As you journey through this enchanted cycle, your expression becomes the art, the manifestation of all that you have learned. With every word, every act, you paint the canvas of reality, a vibrant reflection of your liberation. You are the alchemist, transforming sound into waves, fluidity into fire, fluctuation into stability, and thought into creation. And so, as you weave through this cycle-where sound and waves converge, where fluidity and fluctuation dance-you unlock the magic that resides within. Embrace the journey, for it is the very essence of existence-a celebration of all that you are, all that you’ve been, and all that you will become. In this sacred dance, the fire flickers, the waves crash, the earth quakes, and the stars align, guiding you home.

Can you please tell me what the dance or ritual is called when there is a pole in the center and we each have a ribbon tied to the pole and dance around the pole interloping the ribbon around the pole which is usually a special piece of branch found and decorated? And each of the ladies create our own personal wands for this ceremony that is often done I believe in fire season. Or around fire? I have been trying to look it up but I cant remember the name of this ceremony. Because I would like to do this for my union with my partner. The video above is close to what im looking for but it doesnt have all the other stuff in it.

Wow, it's nice to see Druid culture and reminisce, how your ancestors lived in gratitude with Nature and protected it. I am a Hindu person and we have similar dances, according to our seasons, solstices, temples and can very well go back in time( for instance my native dance, Odissi is the oldest dance in India historically). Good to see your traditions dear and try to learn the ogham script too, for it's your original inheritance. We Hindus start learning our scripts before the Latin alphabet at the ages of 3-4, it's the only way our languages can be written and read.

where was this dance performed? is it in Ireland? Is this a traditional dance still carried down ?
@celticcircledancecompany4462 жыл бұрын
In Australia. This is an original piece based on a lot of meditation with the ancient Irish Goddess Brigid. I wanted to honour our Celt ancestors and bring back how I imagined they danced.

Granted, I'm atheist, but shall I follow a belief system, paganism is the most likely, believe in the earth and life givers (would not be here without a woman's existence). Earth(not some undefinable, provable entity) brought all the fascinating forms of us into existence. Also understanding that all of us live and die, and (humans only) go one, not with a harp (or accordion based on your actions) but simply go back to where you came as a resource for new life , stop worrying about the end game and focus how this random gift of life can be used to better those around you...

Same here. I am an atheist too but am strangely so open to the religion of my Ancient British ancestors (I'm Welsh),
