Would you sell the files so I could print it myself?
@simon5ay5
@simon5ay5 Ай бұрын
@@shaderu5825 I do plan to sell the files eventually. They're not easy to print and require vary precise settings as to not use a lot of filament so I would have to write out a really long description that I just have not had time to do before posting the files for sale.

Man I’ve been having so much binding cuz of this ! And now the lug nuts that came with the hex extensions don’t reach to be tightened enough so they fall off any suggestions ? I have scx24 jlu. Only thing I can think of is getting longer nuts but can’t find any longer than 6mm or 8mm

How did you hook the servo straight to the battery? As the battery only had a positive and negative and the servo has 3 wires?

Freaking sweet dude. Having access to 3d printing is game changing. I used someone else’s design for a UTB18, but going to soon have my 1/10 sporty chassis all done. Yours is phenomenal….ima fan of boa, on my cricket chassis which is a printed one I bought best part esc and battery on the front axle. Must climb like a beast. It gets tight quick w electronics

Nice pointers 👍 I've got a 50 lb bag of sand to throw down when I put the top layer of paint down I need to get going on finishing the track 😁 I'll try that if I need spots with more traction after that

I'm using the Hot racing over drive transmission. I did some more work yesterday and was able to leave the upper links in the stock location by putting an oring under the front transmission bolt leaning the motor backwards slightly missing the link mounts

Im looking to get back into micro crawling and I'm in-between the scx24 or the ax24... If you don't add a ton of brass the stock motor is decent. But if you don't add a bunch of brass it falls over to easy so it's a balance. I have 3 of my 6 with stock motors the others have 66t hot racing motors. I would love to go brushless they are amazing but it's a lot of money
@Kink3chamilian

@@simon5ay5 thank you very much the information,I was concerned it was wine of those situations where you have to sink a lot of money in it just to start enjoying it I've seen those brushless setup and they are really insane but way to pricy for first crawler back in to the hobby Thank for your advice and help , glad I found a helpful place on this platform
@simon5ay5
@simon5ay5 Жыл бұрын
@@Kink3chamilian you don't have to spend much on it to have fun. Even stock they are fun, you just have to pick them up more cause they fall over 😁 If you want cheapest improvement for money brass wheels are probably best. But they are something that creates more rotating mass so if you start adding a lot of other brass the motor starts to suffer. I find around 400_450 grams is usually a good overall weight to keep electronics happy more than that and servos and motor wear quicker.
