Yes, Starfield is a decent game, and so far it looks as Bethesda is managing updates and fixes. It is still relatively new.

the hate primarily comes from the outdated engine that Bethesda used to make the game, as it's the same one they used to make skyrim, which at the time of release of skyrim was great, but doesn't really catch up to the modern competitors.

Your mom is kinda the same too but we all still played her last night.
