I have a few avocado seedlings in water. It takes quite a while for them to root. Don't give up. Put on window sill and leave it alone. Keep water just at bottom of seed.

Hi good question! I try to not water them when it’s at peak heat for that reason, but so far in my experience they have not burned when I do water them in peak times. Good rule of thumb is to water in morning/early afternoon or early evening. 🪴☺️

Kristines Finds Add a comment... @cindymunoz5949 It didn't work for me at first either. Next time take your leaf cutting & cut into a V shape. Put into water and fill only up to the point of the V. Place in indirect light and add water as it gets low. It will take some time but it will work. Good luck! @cindymunoz5949

I don't know what I did wrong, but i've seen thousands if not billions of videos of planting strawberries like this and it just doesn't work. Also, I did a whole lot of research on strawberries and I discovered that grocery store strawberry varieties are hybrids and the seeds might not produce the same big juicy fruits as the parent plant unless yhou have the PERFECT conditions.

Just keep trying, that's all I can really say. The way I tried this is by cutting a thin layer of the strawberry and literally putting it on top of some soil and then added some lightly on top to cover. It does take a while though to start sprouting. It may be your lighting/shade conditions and/or heat/cold temps as well. Good luck and hope it works out! Keep trying, you'll get it!

It didn't work the first time for me either, but I kept trying and now it's doing really well! If you try again, cut in a "V" shape, and only fill up water to where the V is at the point, not all the way up. Keep in a sunny window or somewhere there is indirect bright light. Good luck!

Keep the soil moist when propagating. Only let the first inch or so dry out before watering again.

Also, I use a 10 10 10 fert, 1/4 teaspoon per gallon, I think is what the instructions say. Either way, I've been using it for a couple of years on my snake plant. It started in a 1 gallon pot, and now it's over growing the 3 gallon pot it's in.

I had this. It lasted like 2 years for me in my machine. Never had to charge it until one day the battery became swollen and it broke the panel.

Don't place it directly into water. Give it a full day or two to callus over to prevent the cuttings from rotting !! 😊

They actually grow better when you don’t change the water… just add.. until you replant

True, but the water can get stagnant and even have a smell after a while, so to keep things healthy, occasional water change is good all around.
