Really interesting technically, but man the repetitive music is as annoying AF! A lot of the chat can be heavily edited as well, as there's a lot of repetition. I love the tech content but honestly bud this vid could have been 30 mins instead of almost an hour. YT time is precious! FWIW we have a Barra swapped Patrol on the farm that came with the farm purchase but its defo not as tricked up as this one. It's had a very hard life and really needs to be completely re-built which is on cos we've stripped it and theres no rust and the chassis is sound. The motor though is rough and it needs a bottom end rebuild as a minimum. That's how I found this vid as we're just starting to gather ideas and specs.

Hi mate. Ill be installing one of your kits tomorrow andI was just wondering what do i do if i want to continue using the BOV after removing the factory airbox. Do you keep it on the throttle body after removing everything else? Bit stumped as you as you stated removed yours. Thanks👍

Your're a champion. Your video helped me sort out the power steering switch issue as I have a 4 inch inlet pipe. Been through a few switches, one set of lines and had several leaks. All I had to do was bend the line down. Cheers.

What type of flywheel is that one you put on that car and is there a difference between N/A and turbo. I have a turbo and don’t want to get the wrong plate and are the bolts same part number I have just received your washers that interlock and can’t wait to get everything and in the car then have it running like a Swiss watch for powercruise. I bought the car to work on it with my son and go to car meets and cruise days drive through the city some weekend nights but the best one is powerplay three of them per year and powercruise 4 days and he rides shot gun in the front plus I let him have the Thursday and Friday off because the tracks don’t have hardly any cars Thursday so you can have lots of fun same Friday and then packet Saturday and Sunday until 1 and it starts to get empty again. I have had the car for 5 years now and have driven my car there raced around as much as I could and driven it home never had it stop and been on the side of the road only close call was when my timing chain had jumped and the real dyno guy’s couldn’t believe it was that close to shattering and causing all sorts of damage they have never seen one lick it and not broken. Any help would be great because the gearbox shops that are around my area I wouldn’t leave my car with them because soon as young guy’s in the company know it’s a fast car they have to get into it.

Iv got the atomic chromoly 9mm thick flexplate on my fgx. Do you know if this kit and arp bolts will work with atomic flexplate? I'm not sure if atomic flexplate had recessed holes for the bolts.

Iv got my kit all fitted in my fgx. The battery tray was a bit flimsy with battery installed. I made up another leg and welded it to bottom of battery tray and it bolts down into a nut sert I put into car body. Looking into engine bay I added the extra leg to bottom of battery tray in the back left corner because the battery could rock a bit on an angle back towards the inlet manifold. It's solid as a rock now. I have a standard size battery and once all fitted there is next to no clearance between front corner of battery nearest indicator and the other side by air con pipe. About 3mm at front and 1mm by air con hose. Measure, measure, measure before you drill holes. Sit battery in tray before drilling holes and get clearances right. The fgx may have less room than fg models.

You guys make some cool stuff! I think you guys should develop a cold air feed duct like the stock one over the radiator only bigger that feeds air into your turbo side airbox. That would be awesome.
