I understood needing content to post but can we please not do this 🤦🏽‍♂️ last year we had “one of the best portal classes” and look what it got us.Let it play out and if things are truly clicking we can start to say we hit in the portal.

Looks like , to me, that this is an exercise in uncertainty. I think that is ruining the game. I hope that there is some reining in of this chaos in the near future.

So you would say they have done comparable to Tx, OSU, G, O, Bama, M? And M got a monster qb for 10mil, yes?? My god, how do the Noles keep competing with that? These huge old money schools have a massive advantage, no? The cap means nothing, they will just pay the fines.

This is entirely conjecture, both teams used the portal heavily last off season and had disappointing seasons. It seems both head coaches are feeling the heat due to disappointing seasons and are extremely active in the portal as a band-aid for holes in their roster. But the fact that there are glaring holes in the roster is an indication that players aren’t being developed well. What are the portal rankings of teams competing for championships, are they taking the same band-aid approach? They don’t reset every year with huge portal hauls. They develop players they acquire through high school recruiting and cherry pick from the portal for selective difference makers. This approach is inconsistent at best and will always lead to volatility in culture and performance. The only true way to close the gap is through elite high school recruiting and development and retention of those players and then roping the roster with offense makers from the portal.

We had such a late coaching additions a lot of these players didn't know what we had when they selected I think springtime will be a big backflow towards Florida state will have abundance
