What AvE stands for is Arduino Versus Evil, it's right in the URL of his channel arduinoversusevil............I bought a Stainless utility knife for like a buck on clearance years ago, regular utility blade on one side and a flip out knife blade on the other if you need a longer blade, Pretty much bulletproof design by KA Tools that's not around anymore but it is rather heavy at 7oz.

Hi, I have on accord the same age, after full up ac gas, working good, after 1 day no blow cold! The ac compressor continue working. Do you think can be expansion valvule?
@twosawacres80966 күн бұрын
Hmm, I'd recheck the r134 charge and check that the compressor clutch is engaging first. Unlikely that the expansion valve went out in one day unless it got really clogged with debris.

Wouldn't that leave really big long holes in the leather? Maybe I'm thinking too small, (like a wallet) and this thing is for a saddle or something much larger.
@jpharrod25 күн бұрын
Disagree. If you look up leather hole punch spacers…and cold chisel with fingers you’ll see the difference. Built very similar but next weeks tool is a cold chisel with groves cut into it (called a mason chisel). And blunt ends. Leather punch spacer has tapered points like a needle or nail. (Just my opinion).

I have had police and deputies that have knocked on my door and asked if i was ok? I just tell them i was on my way to a destination and got sleepy and they just tell me they just wanted to see i was ok. I have never in 20 years been asked leave. You tell them you got sleepy, they will leave you a lone. The liability if something happen to me like falling a sleep because of being chased off a parking lot would me a multimillion law suit. Reasinable a necessary is the eay i see it. A tired driver is a danger on the road. I think that it is covincing enough that police any where are not going to mess with.

As far as I know that's the tool they use for putting holes in leather for sewing, they come in different sizes with different numbers of prongs on them. BTW just finished restoring the latest tools you sent last night. Nothing too exciting just cleaned super good down to bare metal and repainted. 👍 P.S. If you don't mind me making a suggestion, next time you do have another giveaway maybe write "Giveaway" in the title to draw a little attention to your channel.

I've got an update video coming out in a few days, and am planning another one already to address the biggest problem I have with the knife (the spring gets bound with dirt/debris way too easy and locks up the slider)... Send me some photos of your stainless bluing, I'll add them to one of the videos. Email is: [email protected].

I don't think any of them are as good as the name brands but like you said if you only need it for light use or personal use, they might be a great option. My personal feelings are, as soon as you get it, open, and assemble it. Then start it and use it heavy during the 30 day return period. If you don't have any issues during that time, then you will probably be fine with it. Personally I would take time and maybe some thread lock and check to make sure all of the nuts, bolts and screws are snug or tight. I hear that sometimes is an issue with them. Im older now, I used to buy only high quality stuff thinking it would last the rest of my life. Now that I'm older and on a fixed income there's not as many years left, so I might opt for one of these, especially if there's somewhere that sells parts for them. Keep up the great videos.

Which plasma cutter do you have? Any issues with it? How much cutting do you get out of the cups?
@twosawacres809616 күн бұрын
I got the Everlast 256si multi process unit (TIG, stick and plasma). I've had the machine for about three years now. I immediately switched the plas cutter consumables to a drag tip type, purchased from a fella on ebay who puts kits together for various torch model groups. If I remember correctly, mine is the PT60 version, and the kit came with the cap, 3 or 4 inside pieces, 2 each of 40/50/60 amp tips, and the drag tip its self. Keeping in mind that I'm just a home gamer, not running the cutter everyday, I just bought a second kit about 6 months ago, but that was only because I was cutting 1 inch stuff and the drag tip got a lot of blow back, the rest of the consumables have held up very well. I tried to cut some 1.25 inch stuff a few months ago and it struggled, ended up getting out the oxy torch. But for everything else, mild steel, SS and aluminum this thing has been a huge time saver. I also got a circle cutter that has worked amazing. I was initially going to get a used Hypertherm 45, $1100 (and drive over 3 hours one way to get it). But the morning of I checked with the guy and he sold it after we made plans... So I started looking into other options. The Everlast, shipped to my door, with cart, water cooler, multi process unit (which is an inverter style) and a starter kit was $2600! About the same cost as the Hypertherm 45. Best of luck to ya. Any other question feel free to ask, I'd be happy to make a video of the thing as well.

exchange the spring spout immediately. they go bad quickly and theres no repair capability. the fuel seems to expand the plastic inside and sticks it in the open position
@twosawacres809621 күн бұрын
Yeah, been struggling with that thing for 2 years now. However, I've learned a few techniques, I either hold the spout with my right hand and keep my thumb in place to push the thing closed, or even easier just give the spout a little twist when removing from saw and it pops closed.

I like how you wrapped the paper around the screwdriver then rested it on the table. gives it a nice solid base for sanding without having to clamp the work piece.
@twosawacres809621 күн бұрын
Thanks, had to try 3 drivers to get the right size, but it ultimately worked really well I thought. But next time I'll just go straight to the small radius flap sanders on the die grinder, so much faster and easier, I was just being overly cautious with using power tools on this thing considering it cost and arm and a d!c%....LOL Just recorded an update video for this utility knife today, will do the editing and post in the next couple days.

Ethanol destroys carbs, ive worked on 1000s of small engines, the damage ethanol causes is unreal
@twosawacres809623 күн бұрын
I agree, however, ethanol usually only comes out of solution when water gets in the gas/ethanol, and water usually gets in the gas by condensation, and condensation can only occur if there is air in the gas tank or carb bowl. Also, small engines like in the chainsaw and weed whip do not have carb bowls, so not much fuel just sits in them. So, either fill the tank completely full before storage, or drain the tank. And on anything that has bowls on the carb, I simply close the fuel off to the carb and run it dry. They can sit that way for at least a year, even with the ethanol fuel...

Used to love Cofra. They were super comfortable, durable, etc. Last two pairs I had fell apart and that after I had to reject two pairs for defects right out of the box (had to order size 14s). Maybe they improved since? Customer Service was abysmal!!! Would replace one unworn pair because I wore it after a year in the box. FYI.
