Amazing video! I'm brand new at teaching this age group, and when I tried a game like this the other day, I couldn't hear any of the students saying their names, especially the little ones who were really quiet! :( Do you have any tips to manage this situation?

Sometimes kiddos are just shy or quiet! If you have a microphone, even just a pretend one, it can be really enticing for kids. Some kids will also be more apt to sing if you have a puppet they sing to instead of you. It helps breaks the ice a bit. If I have a group of shy kids, I'll make sure I walk around the room to be close to them rather than just sitting in one spot. And give them time and grace, especially if you (or they) are new! They'll warm up!

Always love your videos! They helped get me started in the land of Orff and inspired me to get my level one just a few weeks ago :) Not sure if it was originally part of Musicplayonline or somewhere else, but the second hello song you mentioned “Welcome to Music” can be found in MPO’s database and credits Denise Gagné (RIP) as the composer :)
