Buscamos la paz el amor incesantemente creo que esta en todo lugar junto a Jesucristo. Amazing that one of History’s greatest composers lived 500 years ago, only to be followed by another of History’s greatest composers, Johannes Ockeghem. To give context to my informal assertions of greatness, Here’s my ”Top 10” list: Machaut, Dufay, Ockeghem, Josquin, Monteverdi, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Stravinsky. A veritable pantheon of composers with Dufay at or near the top. To those who disparage the Church, without its patronage at least four (and perhaps as many as six or seven) of the composers on my list would never have been. Sobering.

Thank you for posting this wonderful music. Considering there's a complete musical setting for a mass, it's a shame the album's producer didn't arrange these selections in their proper liturgical order.

It’s so weird that the parts of the Mass are all mixed up….the “Agnus Dei” comes right before Holy Communion. The singing is lovely, though.

If you think that the Mass is mixed up NOW, just wait until Pope Francis, the Jesuts and the Moderists get done with it - affer driving the Tridentine Latin Mass underground. If you have the stomach for it, right now you can see videos on YT of a priest dressed up like a Rap "artist" Rapping his sermon during the Holy Ceebration of the Mass and another video with someone dressed as a clown participating n the celebration of the Mass.
