Is it still called a deathhawk if the hair directly in the back of the head is shaved like the sides leaving just the long hair at the top?

You forgot a devilock. Easier to do with a quarterhawk, but can be done with the deathhawk.

I usually go for a Dutch braid or a bun, I’m gonna ing to try pigtails and space buns soon!

Deathhawk space buns are the cutest but holy hell are they hard to get even if you're a perfectionist. Videos like this are hard to find, thankyou for posting.

I have really long thick curly hair, and I started shaving my head when my AC broke because I was dying and my hair is soooo hot. But then I freaked out when my hair started coming off, and I couldn’t finish it. So now I’m planning on mohacking it, and seeing you still look normal with your hair down makes me feel so much better about doing it. I’m so worried I won’t be able to get a job, I’m already having trouble as it is. It also helps me to know Mohawks can still be versatile. Thank you so much for this video.

About to get a deathhawk this August, and I gotta say, I’m amazed at how well you can hide it with your hair split down the middle! I have fine hair, but I do have a lot of it, so I’m crossing my fingers that I can get a similar look with mine.

I gave myself yesterday a death hawk by accident. I made a sidecut and was so pleased by the look, I've done the other side, too. Today I looked in the mirror and was amazed: I can make it a death hawk, if I backcomb it. I tried different styles and now I get some inspirations, what I can do else with my brand new hair accident. (Never been so amazed by an hairaccident)

Have you ever considered shaping the very bottom in the back into a “V”? I think it would be a lot prettier if the bottom back wasn’t just a rectangle. Like the sides shaved tho, very cute!😁🙏🏼💕
