"Trawling" is the correct spelling. The participle "trolling" means "to behave like a troll."

Have you seen the sabiki rods that you can reel the sabiki inside the rod? They are game changing!
@FishingLifeAwaji8 ай бұрын
I've seen those interline rods but I've never used.

Also, if the current is stonger than normal try using a shorter leader from your weight. The stronger current will make the bait come too far off the bottom.
@ChampaBayBeast8 ай бұрын
Love your channel! We fish for our flounder here in Florida with a very similar rig, maybe a little shorter leader and different style of weight. I use all Shimanos and own 3 Yamaha outboards too! What pound leader do you use? And reel/rod combo?
@FishingLifeAwaji8 ай бұрын
Thanks! Shimano's rods and reels are excellent, but a bit pricy. I used a local brand 6ft slow taper rod and a small Daiwa baitcasting reel. This flounder spot is only 30 ft deep, so the leader is 16lb.

Nice catch! You don't call them kingfish? Impressed that you rig up your jigs on the kayak!
@FishingLifeAwaji Жыл бұрын
Thanks man! Just subscribed to your channel too. In Japan, Kingie refers to Hiramasa(Flat shape, live in rocky shallow areas). And what I caught this time was Buri(Round shape, live in deeper areas). It's a bit different species.
