I was interested in hearing about the pickups. 4 single coils?

Yes, four pickups wired to 4 on-off rocker switches. Every other one is hum-canceling

Interesting video. I have similar problems withmy old trainwrecks, but have got a method that is EZr (for me). I remove the binding from the back (upper bout), & hotknife the neck block away from the back. This allows neck action to be resettable with some minor flexing of the sides near the neck. I put a threaded ready - rod attached to a turnbuckle thru the tailpin hole & hook it to a little cuphook l have screwed into the lower part of neck block, near rhe back. Then a plastic washer & wingnut, outside the guitar completes the jig. Picture the tailpin stand on a cello ! This allows me to set the neck angle, reglu & clamp it back up...with all strings on....UNDER FULL TENSION😅 Sorry for yelling, but has worked everytime for me, including some old Sovereign 1260 gems. What a tone on thise babies 🥰 Thanks for the ear 👂 Great to get these guys working & playing again 🤠 Chris...Canada

Having the jack plug in the front is nice for people who want to hold their guitars in a classical way. Its great to see the unique custom of something you wont see every day!

Did you try the pickup configuration of the mach 4 on a strat first? Robie Robertson also made something similar on his strats. Like the bronze one.

This problem is caused by the neck wood shrinking you can also fix this most times with a dead blow hammer and a fret end dressing file.

Instead of fading out completely a coil, would it work to low pass it (like a tone knob) so even when blended out, hum is still cancelled? Love so mush the Mach 4 by the way ❤

Dude its confusing when you play it upside down. Like Elizabeth Cotton. Im thinking your left handed. I cant tell from your vides how well they play. But I am learning tricks. How do you loosen the glue for a neck reset. I have a Harmony Broadway in mint condition and I hate tp to put an iron or steam treatment to loosen it.

Lots of balls in a little amp. My sb-12 looks the same (in better shape) and I was told it’s a 1967. The thing that didn’t come through in this nevertheless cool video, is the strikingly warm round and focused sound before the distortion kicks in. Think STAX, FAME or MOTOWN… thanks for the rockin demo, I’ve never dimed mine, but I will tomorrow!

I had one and the only thing I had to replace wss the drawbars. Did it myself, but then something else happened. My friend, an electronic engineer and genious, said good night. We buried it in my homemade diamond plate carrying case. Makes a nice ledge for books

This phaser is awesome, and I scored one in mint condition. Filming the review for my channel was super fun, especially with the Korg PolySix and Roland Juno-106 presets. Pairing it with the AMT TH-1 reverb pedal made it even better.

Yeah man - the exact center of the butt end of the heel on each neck is the same distance to the nut - so we'll see how close when I take it my buddy Matt ( M-tone) who's gonna round off a Tele neck to fit in a Strat pocket next week Thanks for the vid

Loved your video ! Not only a great guitar , but the playing left me with some head scratching ! I am 76 years old , ( been playing since 1963) and have played with lefties with their upside down guitars . But this was the first time I have seen it done so fluid and without any strange finger or hand movement . Most of all , you played all he strings without substituting or omitting licks that are awkward .. I am giving you a big hand , Man , and I think the switch to right hand is genuis . I tried to play my guitars left handed upside down and looked like a 5 year old . ( not in a good way ) ! Great job , keep up the videos , good luck on your business . Oh , and you are a certified guitar player in my book !

Thanks!! A lefty in a righty world. I’m surrounded all day by cool RH guitars, but I just approach it as a unique alternate tuning and that makes it fun! I don’t really ever play those same licks left-handed so it’s an extension for creativity

Hey, did you sell that guitar yet? I think that was the one that Eric built for me. I wanted th thin neck I wanted those fat frets like I have on the L5. They had the same beautiful top with the hand made Pock guard. I can dig out some photographs if you want to see it. I'd love to have it back. He made it in the 80s..

I found a mint '62 Teisco mustang, completely unbranded and unplayed. I had to plug, shim and redrill the neck, which is made of Korina! ; and I fashioned a new compensated bridge out of Brazilian cherry. The scale length was over 1/4in too short (hence the lack of play wear). Now it is amazing! The pickguard is thick polished chrome steel with a single center pup. I don't know if the Chrome guard is the reason it has no 60hz hum, but it is dead Silent. I named it Ichiro.
