I love this cartoon series. The 90's had the best Saturday cartoons! I just wish WB would bring out region 2 dvds for the European Market. The dvds are only available in Region 1 which is the US. I'd love someone putting the cartoon out on YT in its entirety but...WB will probably stop the channels.

I laughed at remembering that Stallone felt like he had to grow his hair longer for Rambo 3 "so it could match the cartoon." Fun to learn that Morrel started his book in 68 when another famous Vietnam veteran The Executioner started 45 years of paperbacks in 1969. (1 wrote some for about 15 years. )
@Skaramine19 күн бұрын
And if the Executioner sounds familiar, Marvel based the Punisher off of him.
@DasZuberRevisits2 күн бұрын
Oh wow that’s awesome! Was ‘ Blood Trade’ the first one you wrote for the series? I shall seek that one out! I remember reading Stallone wanted to distance Rambo III further away from the cartoon content so he made it more violent lol. The hair length probably fuelled that fire 😂

The greatest Golden Era Superman is the animated series from Fleischer Brothers (Betty Boop, Popeye, Koko the Clown). With stunning rotoscoped animation that surpass any cell animation being produced today, they are the best Superman you are ever likely to watch. (they are available on bargain bin DVD's and video tape, but find a remastered BluRay version instead, because they will become the focal point of your Superman collection.) 'nuff sed
