It's obviously to allow the gnomes who trim Bigfoot's fur to get up high enough while carrying scissors. It's too dangerous to carry scissors up a ladder.

What a fantastic Route 66 video! This was some trip! But while here in CA, you didn't stop at "The Hat"? What a pastrami sandwich you missed!!!!
You can go online to find pictures of Howard Johnsons restaurants and lodges inside and out. Dinning rooms ect.

Post Waffle Crisp was EST in Modesto Ca back in mid 90s. They used real maple syrup. Unlike todays maple flavoring. Not real maple. Cheaper to produce using artificial flavorings 😂

I feel that the cars movie about route 66 is more exciting than the real route 66. The real route 66 seems like a bunch of old rusty things and small towns forgotten about by time.

No it was only one staircase in a KZbinr covered at 3 years ago and it belonged to a military base and that was the only thing left and I don't know why people are trying to blow this out of proportion

Well, I know for a fact that as terms of where Radiator Springs was supposed to be located geographically, was somewhere along the mountains in western New Mexico according to a conversation with John Lassiter that was NOT recorded. That being said, as far as it’s Thematic Inspiration and general proximity to the interstate, the town that is undeniable the closest and can be directly linked to the film in the supplemental materials as well, is Seligman, AZ. Not the buildings there, but the people and the general vibe, and considering it is the birthplace of the rebirth of 66 known as historical Route 66 started by Barber Angel Delgadillo.

Loved the memories. We drove from Iowa to Texas in 1959. Lol, the quirky businesses and the heat in a car without AC left an indelible impression on this 14 year old.

The video and comments section are gold. Take all that time to make this then be like "well its too big any other ideas for it?" And everyone saying to give it to someone else was met with "naw" or "no way" from the uploader. Im confused if it is too big for your current space what else do you want to do with it? The hot and cold is unreal. "We are really happy with how it looks, but its too big for our space what should we do?" "Good will?" "No way." "Give it to a kid?" "Naw." Had to double down on the confusion myself its contageous.

Orrr... Idea 2. Turn it into a remote control car and use it to transport groceries from car to house. 3. Use as a cooler at bbq's 4. A pet carrier when biking or pet bed 5. Protect it and grow a plant inside. 6. Fill with candy for Halloween 🤔 I'm way too invested in this 🤦🏽♀️ Sorry 😂
