God is good? You're not talking about the god of the Bible, then? Because _that_ god certainly isn't good! But is he real, or just imaginary? Maybe you should answer that first, because you can _imagine_ a god any way you want. You might as well say that magic leprechauns are good, if it's all just in your imagination.

@@JudeoChristian Well, I have yet to see a "Creator" _or_ a "Creation," but I've seen lots and lots of religious people making lots of different claims - contradictory claims, often enough - about various gods. So far, they seem to have nothing but wishful-thinking backing up their claims. And most of them _must_ be wrong, because they contradict each other. It's quite possible, of course, that they're _all_ wrong, but most of them _must_ be wrong. So why should I believe _you?_

@@Bill_Garthright We are not asking you to believe us. And yes, you are correct that there are many and contradicting religious claims and they cannot all be correct. Either there is one true path or no sure path. We are 'sola scriptura' which means we believe that the bible in the original Hebrew and Greek is the authoritative inspired Word of the God who created all things. But you can only discover this by reading the book with a desire to discern the truth for yourself. Deuteronomy 4:29 But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. As for the Creation, we of all people have tools to explore the creation in ways the ancients could have only imagined. The bible's challenge to those who can see the wonders of the Creation is to come to know the Creator through his creation. Romans 1:19-21 19 because what may be known of God is manifest to them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

I'm surprised at you being caught up in dispensational delusion. No-one is jealous of the zionists, but people who have a heart do pity them for their disgusting reprehensible behavior ever since 1948. The Balfour declaration was promise, and a covenant that should they move back into the land, they were too not interfere with the indigenous people's of the land. Which they immediately broke. SMH Why would you as some kind of Bible scholar get it into your mind that God would give them back their covenant promise while they are still blaspheming him???? I'll leave that one with ya...

It is a challenge when we do not make the bible our source of truth and instead 'do what is right in our own eyes.' Even when we try our best, speaking truth in love doesn't guarantee the listener will hear. There is a time for all things and we cannot force another to understand, all we can do is live a life founded upon biblical truth, test ourselves accordingly, and encourage others to do the same. Paul lamented being unable to save others and Ezekiel notes the same limits: "“Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals, 14 even if these three men-Noah, Daniel[a] and Job-were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord. 15 “Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts, 16 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate." So we must speak God's Truth in a way in which we live by the spirit bearing its fruit; "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

The world labels many people as 'Christian'. But of course those who know their bibles know that the true followers of Christ keep his commandments and his testimony. True followers of Christ have his spirit indwelling and follow his example. They do not need to belong to any church organization.

I will definitely listen to his study today. I've heard a few minutes already and recommend you all listen to Jeff. i ONLY recommend that you study my sermons on the 7th Day - the last day of a 7-day feast -- was in fact the Last Great Day of John 7:37-39. I'll give an updated sermon or blog on it soon too. BUt nice job. This IS indeed God warning Israel to wake up and repent or worse things will come upon them. THEN it will be Edom's turn for punishment after that (Obadiah 1) and Ezek 26, 28, 35 etc. God eventually punishes the whole world for our sins just before Christ returns.

@@JudeoChristianappreciate your response- a brief story: l personally knew a Polish man, Haviv Scheiber, who was Jewish and left Poland in the 1930's, before the Nazis came into Poland and did the Holocaust. He went to Israel and worked to create a Jewish homeland which became the Jewish state. But Haviv was not happy with the government of Israel and moved again to the U.S. and spent the remainder of his life advocating for a "HolyLandState" of Jerusalem, open to all three of the world's major religions. Maybe he was a couple hundred years ahead of his time. But if you are Christians, remember all the Jews and even the Moslems who also have longed for peace between peoples of all faiths. I also recommend the song, "walk in Jerusalem, just like John" by the Harmonizing Four out of Richmond, a while ago. Times change, but some things remain the same. Thank you.

So then at some point and in some age the creation as a whole will be given that choice to come to Christ and be saved. We both know that cannot and will not happen before judgment day.

How can you be judged before you have a chance to know the truth and make a choice?
@Rickie-x2
@Rickie-x2 Жыл бұрын
@@JudeoChristian the world is not called to Christ and therefore cannot come to him. Only the called/chosen are given the grace to make that choice. Just as it was in the days of Noah who was the only one to make the choice to live for God? It was Noah! And why did Noah have the ability to make that choice? Becuz only Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord and the rest of the world didn't. Judgment day is the day when all will not only believe but will also be corrected by the great judge of all, and at some point in the New Earth they will be restored as they convert.

Shalom. Christianity is NOT the faith of your bible. The early 1st century assembly never called themselves "Christians". The covenant(s) were made with Israel. That includes the new covenant. Gentile believers are grafted into the "commonwealth of Israel". For those of us keeping Torah, feast days, Shabbat, kosher laws, etc... while believing in Messiah, we are ISRAEL. We are Israelites. That is the faith of your bible. There is no such thing as "original Christianity" other than what transpired beginning around the 4th century in Rome. I could also make the case that our Israelite ancestors also referred to themselves as Messianics. But never Christians. Your bible is not a "western" book. It's an Eastern book. And so there is no way early believers would have ever referred to themselves as "Christians". Christianity is false religion just like Judaism is. Both worship systems are filled with traditions of men and paganism. If you were to approach the Apostle Paul in "Tomorrow's World" and tell him that he was a Christian, he would look at you funny. Paul was an Israelite, Messiah Yahshua was an Israelite ( His name is not Jesus Christ ), Peter was an Israelite, Moses was an Israelite etc.... The faith of your bible is an Israelite faith. Nothing more / nothing less. Blessings in Yahshua's mighty name.

This is what the Greek scriptures testify. 19 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, spreading the word only among Jews. 20 Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus. 21 The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord. 22 News of this reached the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. 23 When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts. 24 He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord. 25 Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, 26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. There is a time when God says he will give his people a new name, and for many good reasons. However, in the meantime and for the sake of teaching all people to observe all things, we who are believers in Christ our Messiah, should not be haggling over words. 2 Timothy 2:13-15 14 Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
