@EntertainmentAngel29 Toriyamas paneling on fights and illustrations is better than anything in super manga. Every tenkachi budokai tornament is better than tornament of power. There's no arc that is worse than the goku black arc. Lastly, the lessons and character writing are just better than anything in super. Just to name a few things.

@@EntertainmentAngel29Dragon Ball is the best show in the franchise. It has the best story and even the filler works. The filler in DBZ is awful and distracts heavily from the story. The Android/Cell arcs are written like they were made up on the fly, which they mostly were.

Awesome video! Godzilla x Kong looks like a great movie, and the trailer that you showed looks amazing! And I've seen the first Godzilla vs Kong that came out 2 years ago and that was a great movie. And I look forward to seeing the new Godzilla x Kong when it comes out on March 29 in exactly 2 weeks from today!

If i never saw the cartoon i would think this is a great show. It looks good, The fighting is good, and the story is easy to track. However, there are so many missed opportunities because of time. And i didnt like what they did to King Bumi.

Morph can literally change to anyone. If I recall animated show, Morph is not in most of show. Did Morph even have love interest in original show? I remember he liked Gene and Wolverine. Morph was very ambiguous about sensuality. Most other characters have love interest and it wasn't vague.

The sexism and machismo of the character in the first arcs are very necessary for his development later on. A great example is when he meets Suki.

Idk. I wouldn't say it's necessary to be specifically sexist. He could just be rude and arrogant to everyone equally and still be humbled and have that growth the same way. Doesn't necessarily need to be him vs women specifically

100%. It's also, IMHO, very important to remember that the ATLA characters are _children_ . They are not mature yet. Sokka does start out with some juvenile sexist attitudes, but one of the great things about him as a character is his willingness to change. Sokka's growth/maturation is a big part of his story.

@@MrE_It’s not really vs women. It’s just traditional expectations being projected onto women. This show really is one of the only shows growing up that made a point about how assumptions or expectations can be slights on people even unintentionally. It isn’t some clunky mic drop feminist bs, and it isn’t some overly diluted arrogance that isn’t in the story. Avatar both respects and challenges tradition which is two sides you rarely see together in a story medium. That balance I always felt treated us kids like adults and I still respect that decision. It’s a shame.

@@MrE_ No, it IS necessary for Sokka to initially be sexist. The water tribes are sexist. That is also why Pakku the way he is. It's important to show that other nations/tribes apart from the Fire Nation aren't perfect. If you remove the sexism, you remove the growth from not just Sokka, but also Pakku, Gran Gran, and the tribes in general. In fact, even the Legend of Korra if the series ever makes it that far. And it cheapens Suki's character. She fell for a guy who humbled himself before her, letting go of his sexism. Not just his arrogance.

Mate when a show wraps up nearly 35 years ago, you've probably passed the statute of limitations equivalent of needing to label something with a spoiler warning lol. But in all seriousness, im glad you were able to watch it all the way through for the first time. And perhaps after a rewarch or two, can begin to pick up on the nuances that really distinguish it from DBZ, and especially Super. If you've got the time, the Tree of Might and World's Strongest DBZ movies are also worth a watch

it all comes down to the writing. you mentioned that the that the creators left but here is something else you should worry about, Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino were not the reason Avatar TLA was such a masterpiece. that credit goes to the Person who wrote all the episodes of the original Aaron Ehasz. He also created one of the best characters in the story known as Uncle Iroh, Bryk and Dante were just the people who came up with the concept of the original. imo Aaron Ehasz never got the credit he deserved and soon as i saw that he will not be a part of this Live action i lost most interest cause i believe they are going change a lot core element that made Avatar a beautiful work of art to begin with. lets hope they stick to the SM

I dont like the showrunners anyway. All the best decisions (Zuko aloney the southern airbender, Toph beeing a girl, Zutara setup) were all the writers. I wish they had the original writers on board (especially thr lead couple, or at least the woman, she wrote all the best episodes). I really hope Netflix goes the Zutara route. Not just for the couple but for the story implications etc. I also hope they make it 4 seasons, it just makes sense, season 4 can wither focus on post war stuff&comic stuff or they could split season 3 into 2 parts, with doy of the black sun beeing thr season 3 finale (it felt like a finale tbh). But honestly, as long as they fix the ending (a rock, a literal ROCK beeing the solution to Aangs great conflict set up in the season 2 finale makes no sense and I hope thes fix that. I hope Aang gives up his childish crush and thus earns the power to defeat the fire lord. So much more satifying. For all character). From this trailer im a little worried about the costumes. It looks to clean. To unrealistic. Does noone remember lotr? Look at the ragged looks, realistic costumes etc. Costumes arent supposed to look like costumes. They are supposed to be a little dirty. At least for teenagers traveling alone.
