Lmaoo I thought you meant gore as in blood and stuff, thought I was going to see a crazy crash or injury
@MoneyMark972 күн бұрын
When I saw the title I thought 'wow, thats a bold title for a bad snowboarding accident' then I remembered Gore is the name of a mountain, not far from where I live nonetheless 😂

Thanks for sharing. I was curious. Thin cover but longer run than I expected to see. Maybe better for board vs skis? Enough cover for Saturday and Sunday?
@abadidol13 күн бұрын
It will be fun regardless! Definitely will be good both days. Plan to go back sunday.

Omg do like an hour long nature biking ASMR thing!! Going exactly that speed, idk if it should be medium length trails edited together or one hour long trail (if that's possible?!!) but holy cow I would put that on and watch while sitting at my desk to pretend I'm moving in nature or something lol

Not super familiar with this place, I’ve seen it on trail forks. Was it an old bike park or something? Didn’t know you could even access the trails.
@abadidol2 ай бұрын
It's an active bike park now with lift access. Closed for September but they ran bikes jun-aug so far and are supposed to open for bikes again in october weekends.

@@abadidol oh nice that’s great, definitely needs some maintenance on the flow trails but I’ll take another bike park. The tech stuff looked greatz
@abadidol2 ай бұрын
@@DennyJannettyMTBcurrently it’s all tech. Next year they are planning to add a true flow trail and clean up some of the less tech ones. They are also running timed a Downhill weekly brace league next year on Warrior.

If you wanna prevent that from happening make sure you drop your outside crank. It'll leverage the corner nubs into the ground giving you more traction. These flat corners are some of the scariest to ride at high speeds. Keep progressing 💪

Yep rails are hard to get the hang of, it requires great balance. When i was a kid i tried to boardslide and my front edge dug into the rail and i broke my wrist. I always got scared on the approach and would hesitate or bail. i honestly think you have to spend a couple years getting comfortable doing normal runs before jumps and rails. But good luck learning and have fun!
@abadidol7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the input, I have been riding for about 30 years. I have done both of these rails multiple times this year with no problems. These just happen to be the two messups in one day.
