Comparing euro & US trucks is like comparing cats with rats . They are two different animals built for different operating requirements ... Even US & euro marques down under are " Aussiefied" & are different to what you get running along interstates in the US or on an autobahn in Germany.

The trick is to put your brain at the front of the A trailer , let the prime mover do whatever it wants . Then its as simple as backing a slow reacting truck n dog

Yeah in America back in the early 80s the cab over truck started to go out of style it was the truck did not have to be within an overall 60 feet so from the mid 80s on American truck manufacturers started to make these big beautiful conventional truck that ride and have a lot more space than a crappy Cab over

mate understand, but you are painful to listen too, suggest doing a practice run first sure the M.A.N Merc .scania are great, huge cabs safety, comfort, Scania best regarding stuff, merc hub reduction American trucks too narrow, sure Cummins are good engines, but the vee8 in the Swede is an engine that lasts forever in the early years, many euro truck engines had inadequate cooling and that killed em off you'll never perform in the snow with an American, Scania Volvo Merc will gradually whittle away at the market
