Some may consider Blind Melon a one hit wonder kind of band but, these guys are pretty much on the same level as Mad Season and Temple of the Dog when it comes to music.

Shannon used to come hang out and get c--e from a mutual friend. He was a wild man. He loved to go streaking. I miss him. Sure wish his daughter would have gotten to know him.

Was sad watching this beautiful soul laid to waste by the Music Industry..Dude just needed love and Rest..He burned out..And I was close to death when Shannon passed away..Life is a gift and one must have Peace...Love ..And a solid Family..The rest of the rat race only steals your soul.. The Creator gave us tear ducts for a reason..Let it flow sometimes cuz this world can be a real mofo ..Love Wins..

God, I miss this band SO MUCH!!! God bless you, Shannon. And may you be in heaven, away from all this pain and anger and hatred. You were SO not made to live in this world. I understand. I TOTALLY understand. You were all about love and happiness, and for a short time, so was this world, YOUR VOICE is the voice and this band gave me the soundtrack for the best, most beautiful years of my life.
