What are the differences in each version? I want to watch one but they’re is 4 different ones on KZbin. Different lengths. Is it additional footage added to the original? Or do each have completely different material? Thanks in advance

Way out of tune on the first song. Kind of mindless noodling too. Let's see if it gets better from here. Quite a mediocre performance.

I never got to meet him, and feel very fortunate to have attended nearly 200 events that he was a part of. One of the finest human beings to ever have lived on this earth. Thank you, Jerry. ✌🏻🙂👍🏻🌈✨

I danced and then I danced. then the artists wrote upon my door. The wizards of the parking lots spun the magic twirls. Flags flew and horns blew. Some guy took off all his clothes and danced naked in the crowd no matter what you feel what you want or are. never been a better time for humans to see what is really going on. We are living on a globe in the midst of an infinite universe. There is no one near who is like us. We are the ones.

I was there on Friday night. Jimi was bummed out and ripped the "teenyboppers" in the audience. I left after that and wasn't around on Sunday. ☹

I don't understand people saying "how great he was"?? 10-15 mins of noodling and noise and some very, very lackluster playing on this film!! Same with his Woodstock performance! Ya, he did some good studio work, but definitely wasn't as great as all the hype made him out to be! Doing old blues standards and Dylan songs and free style jams with the volume on the amp cranked all the way up is not talent! Sorry not impressed, not even for 1969 standards. There were so many other bands and musicians with way more talent!!

I have to agree with you. I was there at Devonshire Downs for this set and deeply disappointed, in awe of the studio albums as I was. He was to play the night before, but we were told he was waylaid in Toronto ( I think it was) on drug charges. Band of Gypsies? I wanted the Experience... CCR was great though!

I mean Jimi is pretty much the rock equivalent of John Coltrane. Boiling Jimi’s live playing down to ‘loud noodling’ is surface level criticism. The man mastered feedback in a way that wouldn’t be explored until decades after with electronic music. Please feel free to recommend any other video that reaches this level of inspired improvisation.
