Found one chucked into the soil during my field herpetological survey in a former colonial estate in Singapore. Do you know which date the Tamarind series was produced?
@vintagefarmhouseantiques126914 сағат бұрын
You would need the factory mark to estimate the manufacturing period as production was over a long period.

How much are these selling for? I found a set of 16 enitire dish sets, cups, saucers, gravy boat and tray with salt and pepper shakers. They are the blue ones.

I have this set. Love it. Found some extra pieces at an estate sale that just say Made in England on back.
@vintagefarmhouseantiques12698 күн бұрын
They are very likely genuine if the scene is one of the friendly villages designs, but they did also make other series which are easy to mistake such as the Cotswold series. Use Google lens to check matches.

I found a full set for 4 of these. Are they microwave safe?
@vintagefarmhouseantiques126918 күн бұрын
Not unless it say so on the base . It was manufactured pre microwaves . If there is any gilding on it then China should not be put in microwave as it will spark . We only use China in the microwave that says it is ok to do so on it . We don’t put any of our vintage or antique China in the microwave . Hope this helps

My guess on the flower might be a Lenten Rose (Hellebores) however you might want to research that further. Really enjoyed your presentation. There is no substitute for fine bone China when it comes to quality and individuality. Corelle might have its place in some homes but certainly not mine. Darryl

I have a few blue and white display plates bowls etc I can not find any good information on them. I found that the research is confusing, so I gave up. I know their not worth a lot, but it still would be interesting this video very helpful if I ever came across a piece
@vintagefarmhouseantiques1269Ай бұрын
We still regularly come across pieces that completely stump us, but its nice to have a process to follow for identification, and the modern AI graphics tools are increasingly rewarding to use. Happy collecting!

No, the 82 EU Z are not date indicators. check out the factory stamp against reference date range stamps on Janice Paull website to get an idea
