I have an alter and it isn't Wiccan alter but more of a spiritual type alter. To anyone else it would look like statues and crystals etc. but I'm the only one who knows the meaning of the items.

Not really a fan of how you described reality shifting as "a bunch of teens playing make believe as Harry Potter characters to bone each other". As a shifter I can tell you it's much different than that and hearing that horseshit is so exhausting, especially coming from another witch. My witchcraft involves shifting and my shifting journey involves witchcraft, and other practitioners also have those experiences. You can't do an iceberg video on things you haven't actually taken the time to research.

You can charge intention into all the elements of a witchy but mundane looking craft. Like a lot of Christmas decorations actually came from Yule and I'm doing more classic ones with my kids this year. Dehydrate orange slices in the oven and hang those for prosperity, happiness, and protection. Add cinnamon sticks, cloves stabbed through, and even pine.

A little late to the party for this one Fraeya (must have missed the notification at the time) but that's a great idea for a video. Thinking outside the parameters of what we feel we must do within our lifestyle with big grand spaces for our altars when we really only need the bare minimum and a space that is sacred to us whatever the size. I literally had the same experience with buying black candles in an occult shop. The guy sounded like a regular so it seemed really weird to me that he’d be THAT ignorant, (Though, ok, to be fair, in my case I was doing baneful magic with them.)

Something I did to do divination is get playing cards. I have multiple playing card decks all with different designs. I just said that I’m just collecting playing cards.

Stay strong in your beliefs, I believe you can be both because spiritual freedom meaning following your own path. I identify as Christian Mystic and stand with that belief to this day be true what you believe and never let anyone tell you otherwise

Love this! Nice vid on some of the options for making a personal altar. That is what I love about altars - they can be designed to meet then needs of the individual - Christian, Wicca, Buddhist, Witch, Pagan, to or for a particular Saint or Angel, etc. They are a customized sacred space, made to meet the needs of that person.

I am not a witch, but I very much enjoyed your video for giving a very academic and fair approach to the issue that isn't completely biased to one side. I completely agree with what you said about witchcraft only being a problem in Christianity when consulting outside forces. To further aid your point, there is an interesting story in the bible about Saul asking the Witch of Endor for help. In this story, God punishes him for it by forcing him to lose the battle and commit suicide. There is later a verse that said his punishment was due to the fact he didn't trust in God, and instead trusted in outside forces. To further back up your claim more, the 12 apostles performed Cleromancy, but invoked the name of God instead of any pagan or outside Gods. I do believe that paganism is completely incompatible with Christianity, as there is many many verses in the bible that say you should not worship other Gods. This is outside of the old testament as well, and the old testament is no longer relevant in Christianity (and neither are the 10 commandments.) Anyways, I apologize for the wall of text

Another thing you could use is crayons because you’d always have a different color for all your different intentions & you can actually light them if they still have the paper on them however it’s best to make it so it’s not pointy, the paper will act as a wick.

I am a Christian and I am fascinated in Wicca but I know the Bible forbids Witchcraft all together. Revelation to be exact tells me I can only be wholehearted for God and not be lukewarm or he will spit me out. So I have to honour God in what he has told me. I guess I am now weary of where the power comes from. Whether it is of God or something else I use as idol worship. This is my thoughts on tapping on two powers. Either one with God's power or one with principality. I also fear myself of leaving God and Jesus and His Grace. His Grace tells me I don't need to do anymore works and I am complete by faith. No more ritual, no more sacrifice from the Old Testament, no more animal sacrifices like the Jewish traditions. I often am the one to bible bash myself if I watch a witchcraft film so I don't like attacking people for their belief. I used to practice yoga but knowing it honours a hindu deities, I stopped. It is fitting to say you have your journey of spirituality and a relationship with God in the juggle. I respect both religions but I see Christian as more than a religion. It is a transformation and restoration of a relationship with God the Creator, Lord and Saviour.

Hey. I used to be a psionics practitioner, now a chaote. In the psi community, we see Shifting as just connecting or "invoking" a thoughtform and experiencing their intent whilst we sleep.
