My answer: Visit popular spots, visit beaches(I mean, its an archipelago) What to eat in the Philippines? and the first thing it gives you the american diner dish....I mean, sure some of the recipes are good but you gotta find credible good ones. Kinilaw feels more like a sidedish to me. I don't eat that regularly in my place. Sinigang is a CLASSIC stew. I recommend finding a geniune Sinigang dish and the budget Sinigang that uses Knorr brand broth sachets to try. Adobo is great depending on what city you eat it at, and if its saucy(good with rice) or fried into the meat like coating. I have no idea what Humba is or what it taste like... Jeez, Its like I'm not from the country(This is my first time discovering Humba). Lechon is very good for party occasions(usually Juicy and Crunchy). Most definitely DON'T DRINK TAP WATER! There's probably chlorine in the solution of the water. I got diagnosed with Amoebiasis a few years ago and it messed up my digestive system. I thought it was fine because we drink iced water, frozen in plastics designed for local ice products. These are found in 'Sari-Sari stores' (Family business shops). Its Sin-na-ngag.
