If you want to edit or trim a recording with BB Collaborate Ultra, you can't. BB used to be at the forefront. Now they trail by light years.

Is there a way to have the "instructions" entered when setting up a Pool appear with every question added to the pool when they are pulled into a Blackboard test? I have a language instructor who wants to add an audio file within the "instructions" field of a Pool show up with every question in the pool when they show in the Blackboard test. Thank you.

The speaker is going too fast, and if she could say "room" instead of "rum" it would be less distracting. Some people are new at this and need a speaker who takes that into account. I am going to watch a different video.

Go to settings in the video and slow down the sound. A good skill to learn. Peoples' accents vary hugely across the world. I'm sure some of the ways I pronounce words are very odd to others, and who knows, maybe this is true of you too.

Thanks! Someone once told me there is a way to set it in such a way that sessions are automatically recorded. Is that true?

Hi! Thank you for this video. Please help me with something I am struggling to figure out on BlackBoard. How can a test thus created using a Question Set, be exported to another section of the course? I want the random questions to be random there as well. Please help.

Hello, I'm glad you found this video helpful. To answer your question, you have to export your test pool and the actual test in question to the other course. If you only export the test and import that to the new section, it won't be able to reference the questions from the test bank in the original course. Hope that helps...

Hi! Actually when you export the test created using Q Sets, it gets imported with all the question options. So a basic export and import works fine. I have not done with a pre-made Pool, but I am assuming it will work like that as well. I hope people reading this might find some use. Thank you!

I'm afraid there is is not (currently) a way to pause the video. When you "stop recording" that creates a separate clip.

Hi Thank you for this. One question is there a way to pause the recording and then resume? There used to be in previous versions I thought.

EXCELLENT video. I've used PowerPoint to create video titles, closing credits, etc. but never thought of using it for Blackboard banners. Thank you! I hope you don't mind if I recommend your video to our online trainees.
