For some reason the script didn't work when I put it into the child theme, but it worked beautifully when I put it into the head-element! The explanation was super helpful, because I like to understand what the codes I paste into the sites actually do, just in case I ever run into issues :)

Hello Ania! I've been looking to get this tool since 2018 and I finally could afford it! Is such a time saver, thank you so much for all the work and passion poured on the project! I've one question, for the full width dtb-menu. How can I add new sections bellow the default options available, for instance, a carousel or an image or a log in section. I've been looking for tutorials but I cannot find the exact process involving Divi toolbox. Thank you so much!

Hi Ania. I hope you are well. I wonder if you would consider filming a tutorial on how to build a header that disappears on scroll but reappears when you scroll back. I can't seem to find a link to demonstrate right now but I have seen this many times and really liked the effect. I like having more space on the screen without the menu but it's annoying to have to scroll all the way back up to be able to see it. Thank you !

Hi Anna, Thanks for the video…really excellent. The editor you are using outside wordpress is??? Another question…When you display blog posts the section container is displayed as white background….how can i make this into a repeating image or just solidcover. Thanks…David

Hi! This tutorial was recorded before Divi created the Theme Builder. It's much easier to design your blog archives using the Blog module inside the Theme Builder template - this way you have full control over the parent section and can use any background you like (and any additional elements). I was using Coda code editor when recording this video (panic.com/coda/).

Although I have used divi on all my sites for sometime now, I am certainly no expert. Dumb question. I thought the ability to create a transparent header and change it on scrolling was all part of standard divi features?
@aniaromanskacom4 ай бұрын
Hi Gary! Yes, it is very easy if you're using the default Divi navigation, but if you'd like to use the Theme Builder and create that effect with a Menu module and other builder elements, it's not so obvious. I explain this exact problem in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/noe1fIl7hpKXo8k

Hello, and thank you for this thorough tutorial. I would like to know what happens after WordPress update? Dos all the changes with this plugin stay intact or you have to deploy/import them again?

You are safe to update WordPress and Divi, none of the Toolbox settings will change during the process.

Ania! Congratulations on this video! Very accessible and followable. It is beneficial for those who want to create a one-page navigation, but the logic can also be used from other page builders. Ania! Gratuluję tego filmu! Bardzo przystępny i możliwy do naśladowania. Jest to korzystne dla tych, którzy chcą stworzyć nawigację jednostronicową, ale logikę można również zastosować z innych narzędzi do tworzenia stron.

Great video. How can I trigger the popup from within a separate JQuery function? I have a function that uses $(window).on ('scroll') that shows an alert at the right place. What jQuery do I use to trigger the popup? $('#email-optin').show(); ?
@aniaromanskacom4 ай бұрын
I'm afraid it's not as straightforward as you described. The trigger element and the click event on that trigger is directly connected with the overlay ID. If you want to show one specific overlay ID then something like: $('#contact').closest('.dl-popup-wrapper').addClass('popup-is-visible'); could be a good start 🤔

@@aniaromanskacom Thank you. I will try that.

New subscriber here! Thank you for this insight! I was having a hard time making DIVI respond correctly to my grid rules. Your approach did the trick for me. It seems that DIVI's wrappers for elements are messing up direct CSS definitions. But your strategy worked beautifully. Thank you.
