wow, that's a long wooden walkway at the end of the video. Swell dogs. One of them must have been walking right beside you most of the way - I couldn't tell it was there. That was an interesting stack of records. James Brown record looks great - is he playing organ on that one? I have a couple of his records on Smash that focus on his organ playing. That's an awesome red album cover on the last record you showed. Thanks for the update!

Randall, thanks, yes its a really long one, crossing the field that in the spring is very wet, hopefully I can do a walk then again. Yeah Rocky, the other dog is not so keen to walk on these so he stay close. James Brown is playing the organ, I should have mention it. The last one is Kungens Män album (Kingsmen) Cheers

That music made dog walking epic!! I really should get that second Violent Femmes record on vinyl. I need to check out Emmy Lou. I really like the stuff she did with Gram Parsons. I do dig the country music though. I have 37 JB records, but not that one. I like the look of True Moon. I'll have to check that one out. The last one that I didn't catch the name of has an amazing cover & I love pretty far out krautrock. If I only knew the name!! Cheers...Ben

Hi Janne! Brian from Tokyo Record Style! I watched your video a few days ago when you posted it but it was only today that I sat with it for a while longer and catalogued each album you including in this list with the intention of giving them all a listen from beginning to end. Some of your selections already have me really intrigued, including: MONO - Wow! This sounds absolutely amazing! Why am I only hearing about them now? I must be living under a rock! Mellon Collie - It's been TOO DAMN LONG since I last listened to the record from beginning to end! Maybe 20 years or more, same for Dummy, Stooges, even Houses of the Holy. Amadou & Mariam - Good grief! I already listened to the first track and it was amazing. Can't wait to sit with the rest of this. Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats - Was so close to buying this record one day but went with something else, that I never listened to again. I think I made the wrong choice that day, but happy to have a 2nd chance at it with your Japan Vinyl Tag Selection! Scremedlica - I only discovered this album in the last 5 or so years. It somehow skipped over me in the 90s and I absolutely love it. Haven't owned a Primal Scream record but by now have listed to many/most/all of them and this one is probably my favorite. I admittedly went a looked up a price for it on Amazon and saw your box set also for sale. Wow! What an amazing treasure you have! Tiamat and Morcheeba sounds really interesting and right up my alley. Can't wait to listen to them all! Thank you Janne so much for joining in this stream. Im a Peterson and I have some roots in Sweden so I'm really happy to make your acquaintance. And yes, if/when you make it back to Japan, we will have to get some sushi (and maybe some records) together :-) I will circle back once more when I listen to all your records so stay tuned! Again, Thank you so much for joining up and so happy to be connected! Best from Tokyo!

Hi Brian, thank you very much, glad I managed to tap into music nerve with this entry, maybe a new rabbit hole to fall into 😃 There is so much amazing music out there that one will probably never get enough. MONO can absolutly be something for you, happy for you to discover them now, should be pretty easy to find over there. Amadou & Mariam is pure blind magic from Mali, love them. Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, stream them and check if it something that works for you, i do like them and thier latest album is a old school Italian horror soundtrack...So odd, so wonderful. If Amazon has "Scremedlica" for sale, don't sleep on it. Excellent boxset. Wow you got roots in Sweden, that you have to tell more about, maybe in a video or so. And thanks for the invite, I will for sure give a heads up if Im on my way there again, I hope it wont take to long. Take care and keep up the excellent work on your channel, love that you share so much from Japan and not only records. Cheers

That is a perfect avocado. "Some dude yelling at a woman who wants to be the president" 😂I think Mom would know the difference between an MC & MM cartridge as well as the lovely baking. You made me remember something I hadn't thought of for years. When I was in primary school my uncle had a big coffee table book called Album Covers Album. It had lots of iconic album covers as well as novelty ones and very mind blowing artistic as well. Well that Juicy Lucy cover was in there and it took up two pages because of the gatefold. I was pre-puberty, but I remember it made me feel strange inside, in a not unpleasant way that I could not yet understand 😂
