Lancer evolutions are dope but the exhaust notes have nothing on the boxer rumble and intoxication of the Viper in a diaper SRT-4. The caliber sounds exactly like these being they share the same world engine (SRT)

how much louder are they compared to stock? It's fairly hard to tell through a video.

Just bought this car. I thought it was broken; your car has that same rattling sound at idle. Also exhaust sounds pretty loud for stock.

Got this car like a month ago, and I love it! And same year too! Love how it sounds stock! Only issue I’ve got so far is the rev hang when shifting to 2nd gear, making the car jerk, which is a little annoying. Overall it’s so fun to drive.

I love the car it looks amazing and the power isn’t terrible but my god it sounds so bad 😭
@Christian_Meyer8 ай бұрын
Damnnn is it really that bad lol… It is kinda raspy but in certain situations I think it’s sounds pretty cool. Definitely gonna work on improving it though.
@dominicv9648 ай бұрын
@@Christian_Meyer I’m not specifically calling your M3 out, I think all E46 M3’s sound bad I just can’t handle the rasp. It may just be my ears but I’ve never heard a throaty S54, they all sound like they have fart boxes regardless of the setup. May just be me to be honest 😅

My isr short though did rattle had to wrap tape around it then slide the metal piece back for a more snug fit and it works great for the minor work to remove the rattle if you have it its 100% worth it

I just boost leak tested mine. It held 20psi for about 30 seconds and then the fitting I made blew out of the intake 😂

@Christian_Meyer Жыл бұрын
Rod bearing job will generally be around $1500-$2000 + any add ons or additional parts you want to replace while they're working on the front of the car/engine. My rear subframe job was around $4000 I believe but that included lots of other various bushings and suspension parts plus a new OEM diff cover. I currently have another quote for $2200 to do my vanos rebuild + valve adjustment.

Nice. Curious to know how the Ninja compares to the R6. Was it hard to trade in? As in, did you have an attachment to it? Not sure how long you had it for, but I know those that have an R6 keep them since they are no longer made. Can't wait to see the track footage! 😊🎉
@Christian_Meyer Жыл бұрын
No I wasn’t really attached to it. As expected, the seating position was pretty tiring to ride so I didn’t use it as much as I should have. I also wanted to start tracking on something with less power and lower running costs so the Ninja will work out perfectly.
