That's amazing. Is there a way to mod in more people? Not sure if Suzuki has heard of China but it's actually teeming with people. Niaowu should have 100s of NPCs walking around!

I don't know if you ever plan to complete these video's but the two episodes you've made here are absolutely fantastic. You can tell they are a huge love letter to this game and the series. Thank you for making them!

My graphics card broke and I’ve never been able to get another one with the crazy prices in the uk but yeah when things go to normal I will finish. Glad you like them though.

Did you find this? It seems this is some kind of quest for the most devoted fans. There is no mod with name like "Increase Draw Distance" anywhere or a link in the description under the videos about it and no one says where exactly it is. Even after 5 years it's still a strange secret.

These videos are really great as a sort of Shenmue 3 The Movie. I was wondering if you remembered what values you used for the enhanced draw distance and NPCs since I was looking to replay the game and have it look more like it does here

i dont remember the numbers but i basically maxed out the values given by the modder.

Much better. This is how the game should have been released! The 'other' camera view is too restricting. It's the reason I didn't buy the game.

This is more enjoyable than actually playing the game. I just couldn’t enjoy 95% of Shenmue 3.

This camera view should of been optional, hope PS4 recieves an updated that allows for alternate camera angles.

@Budgie Cat Compare @0:20 to @0:50, Ren's model disappears into thin air but Shenhua remains onscreen. Or better yet, @0:09 vs @0:40 with the people training in martial arts in the background.

Well 256 people is the max amount of people in this hack and that makes my very powerful pc run at 35 ish fps. This is set at 120 people and at max distance. I dont think theres ever more than 20-30 people on a street anyway

There's barely anyone on the street lol. You see more people down by the harbour/port area than anywhere else. As soon as you get to Liu He Hall and go milling about around the top portion there's virtually no one walking around anymore. Makes the game feel very lifeless
