Have you considered doing a video on the Wizard of Oz show?? And hopefully digging up anything that's previously been unseen.. but even that aside it'd be nice to have all info about it in one place :-)) underappreciated as hell and I'd love to hear the tin man's song in decent quality someday ugh

I would but unfortunately there’s not much to say that can’t already be found. It was a show built on spec, but rather than for a restaurant setting it was for a dark ride. Duke voiced the Tin man, Shalisa voiced offstage Dorothy, and I bet you Tim Inglis voiced scarecrow. The show never sold, went to looneybird’s Orlando, and has sat in the collection of CEI since. Just some of Ju’s Cliffnotes.

I believe I remember Aaron saying that he traveled to Busch Gardens to pitch the show to them. I remember him saying something about them not receiving the pitch well.

Is it just me or does 2:46 seem like a nod to the Wolf Pack 5 in the way that the wolf pack 5 does a very similar thing to the way it goes through 4 different characters, getting higher in pitch each time? Also 3 of the 4 characters are the modern equivalent of the WP5 characters who originally did it being Fatz for Fats, Mitzi for Queenie, Beach bear for Beach Bear.

No, it was just something The Beatles did in “Twist and Shout” or one of their earlier songs. The RAE just used it as a simple transition to another song. The WP5 didn’t invent it, they only did it because they had Dingo Starr so they included some Beatles reference here and there (even if they weren’t said or done by Ringo.)

@@waitingforwhoasked6403 Ah okay. I was just wondering because of how the Wolf Pack 5 did it. I wasn’t trying to imply that the Wolf Pack 5 invented it, I was meaning to say they did it before the RAE, I know it wasn’t invented by the WP5, I should have worded it better. Thank you.
